How am i supposed to prepare the trays for whitening and for how much time is good one syrange thanks

Asked more than five years ago by Rachel

If you purchased whitening trays with a brand-name whitening kit, please follow the instructions in the kit or from your dentist. If you purchased trays on their own, please wash and dry thoroughly before use. Some trays require molding; run very hot water over the trays to make them somewhat flexible, then place them in your mouth for a minute to shape them.

Before using them, use your syringe to place the whitening gel into the trays - do not fill all the way to the top. Again, please check with any instructions you may have received.

A sealed syringe of teeth whitening gel can last anywhere from 3 months to 6 months. Once you use the gel, however, you'll need to dispose of it-unless your kit comes with a way to re-seal the syringe.
