Dentin is calcified body tissue and one of four components of a tooth’s structure, along with enamel, cementum, and pulp. Usually, it is covered by enamel. Yellow in appearance. it greatly affects the color of a tooth due to the translucency of enamel. Resistant to bleaching or whitening, some techniques are having limited success lightening the color of dentin.
