Celebrity Sexy Teeth Whitener Review

The Celebrity Sexy Teeth Whitening product is a scam. You will see this product advertised on the internet through fake testimonials posted on blogs, forums and phony review sites. The product is also marketed as "Celebrity Sexy White"

Our Observations

  • The product does not work.
  • The owner of the domain celebritysexyteeth[dot]com also owns the domain best-teeth-whitening[dot]com and teethwhiteningreviewed[dot]com. What a coincidence!
  • The product was never mentioned on any of the listed "as seen on" sites.
  • Their ads try to make the purchaser think that "today is the last day for free shipping." It's a ploy to get you to purchase the product right away.
  • The product is way over priced for a Brush-On Whitenier.
  • They have an "F Rating" from the Better Business Bureau.

Other Scam products that might be originating from this company as well:
Ivory White, Celebrity Smile, Vibrant White

How do you get them to stop calling you? I never placed an order...but almost fell to the scam...I thought by x-ing out..they wouldn't have gotten anything...but they are calling 3-4 times a day! I haven't answered...but googled the number and it's this...I reregistered for the DO NOT CALL LIST...Mad at myslf for almost falling for it...I guess I should be lucky they haven't taken my money...yet. Hopefully they have not hacked into my computer...

My issue, I returned the package unopened and was still charged $87.62 to my account a week later. I just got off of the phone with them. I should not have just put return to sender on the envelope, I should have called first to state that I did not want the product. They would have then sent me the termination notice so I could ship the product back to the correct address. But now since I just put return to sender on the package it will take 2x as long to process the term. Since, they do not actually ship the product, the number I was calling only processes the terminations. I asked her how she knew I was terminating her response: Mam I totally empathize with you. I dont think she understood what she was saying. I asked to speak with a supervisor. She put me on hold for 10 mins then came back on and said no level 2's were available. I guess they were too busy getting hollered at by other suckers like me. (if there are any) Also, as an fyi, 1 week after the $87.62 was taken from my account they tried to charge me again but I had already canceled. I put in a dispute with my bank over the charge and now I know I will probably never get my money back from these scumbags.

I went to their site and ordered the FREE SAMPLE. Basically all I had to pay for was 1.39 and I freaked out coz that was way too good to be true.

The next day I saw the 1.39 charged to my credict card and a couple days later I received my FREE SAMPLE.

Last Wednesday I checked my account, luckily, and I noticed my credit amount had increased so I decided to check how it got there. And there it was 59.99 and next to it it said CelebritySexySmile U.K. I was shocked, I had not ordered their product! There was a mistake. I immediately went to google and typed in Celebrity Sext Smile and I came to this site! I was so angry I wanted to find these people and kill them. I texted my sister and told her to check her account we had been scammed. She texted me back and found out they had made a charge of 87.00 on her credit card.

We immediately filed a fraud complaint with Bank of America and started looking for numbers to call. The first lady my sister called told her the site she found the product on was not theirs. I mean really? If they know that some thieves are scamming people with their products how come their havent't done anything about it. And If it was a fake website how come she actually received the product.

Any way, this weekend we froze our credit cards and this morning I call the number on the receipt I received with my FREE SAMPLE and this guy answers. He starts asking me how much I like the product and I tell him I don't like it and I want to cancel my membership, which I never signed upffor, he claimed he did it but I don't believe him. I ask him why they are charging me sixty dollars and he tells me its for the one i already have. So I tell him no that was the FREE SAMPLE, you know the one they already charged me for 1.95, he says no, its only a FREE SAMPLE IF YOU RETURN IT BEFORE 10 DAYS AFTER YOU ORDER IT. In other words my FREE SAMPLE WAS NOT FREE AT ALL, IT COST ME 64.90 TO BE EXACT. So I tell him I don't want the piece of crap and i'm shipping it right back to them. He starts yelling and I tell him I don't give a fuck I don't want the shit. He refuses to tell me the return address and I tell him I have the receipt right infront of me and sending that thing right back to them.

I have also filed a complaint with the FTC and I hope you all file. I also alerted 7 on your side and I hope they investigate these scumbags. They should not get away with this. At this point I don't care if I get the 50.95 (they charge you for restocking that crap too if you return) as long as they are humiliated and punished for this outright thievery.

I hope no one falls for this agin.

Surprisingly, I actually noticed a reasonable whitening of my teeth with this product. Better than most on the store shelves. I do agree though that there is a scam involved here, in that I specifically asked for the auto ship/bill to be canceled and have had to do so more than once.

I followed the directions explicitly to get by rebate. No dice. I called they canceled my enrollment in WellnessWatchersMD which is not clearly mentioned and they assured me my rebate would be in the mail. Nope. Dumb me.

Trying to get my rebate has lasted for 6 months. My last conversation was today talking to a "supervisor" who was reading very clearly off of an objection or complaint script. I told him this was scam and he was a liar. He had the nerve to tell me the $50 rebate came out of their pocket. I said, "No it didn't, it came out of my checking account." I told him I would file a grievance with the Better Business Bureau, but decided to start flooding the forums first.

I can't believe I fell for this stupid scam. CelebritySmile is a scam. The "Free Trial" ended up costing me about $20.00 total... but a bunch of stress and grief, too.
After ordering with my Debit card, I immediately cancelled online. I received the product, never tried it or even opened it. I called the company and told them I wanted to cancel. They assured me I would not recieve anymore products and that my membership was cancelled. I asked if I had to return the "Free Trial" and they said, "No. You can keep it." I asked two more times if my membership was completely cancelled and was assured that it was and that I wouldn't recieve ANYMORE charges.

Then there came a $59.95 charge on my debit card. I called the company again (calling ASAP in the AM is best), and the man told me that I would not get my money back until I returned the "Free Trial." I said I was told that I didn't have to send it back. He said, "You don't HAVE to, but you do if you want your money back!" SCAM, SCAM, SCAM!

So, after asking to talk to his supervisor (and he telling me 'this is not a supervisory call'...whatever that means) He gave me an RMA number over the phone (which in their Terms and Conditions says they WON'T do, but they DID!) I immediately went to the post office and mailed the "Free Trial" back for $6 (2-day Priority Mail and a TRACKING NUMBER.)

When they recieved the package (remember to get a tracking number), I called them AGAIN. They had no record of my order. Luckily, I had kept EVERYTHING, so I gave them my order# and customer#. Then I had to give them my TRACKING NUMBER so that they could look it up to see if it had been received. They said they'd credit my account and it may take 7-10 days.

(Meanwhile, I had cancelled my Debit card and ordered a new one thru my bank.)

About 4-5 days later, a credit for $50.95 showed up. So, they DID refund the money less $9.00 (for what, I'm not sure and at this point I don't care anymore.)

SCAM! It's important that if you were caught in this scam, to cancel your card immediately, keep good records, RETURN the "Free Trial" with a RMA number (or they won't credit it.) And STAY ON TOP OF IT! Do this in a very timely manner, and you should be able to get some of your money back.

Also beware and be aware of DAZZLE SMILE AND PREMIUM WHITE ULTRA and ALTA WHITE. These were advertised as someone sending for a "sample trial" of each and then claiming the effcts of each were compimentary to the other. Applying for each product on their "trial system" could cost you dearly; in the region of $200.00 before you can get the payments stopped. You probably will not get the product through your door until the trial period is over and they have charged your lifetime 'subscription' to your account. DO NOT TOUCH ANY TEETH WHITENING PRODUCTS (I HAVE YET TO SEE ONE THAT IS FDA APPROVED), BITE THE BULLET AND GO VISIT YOUR DENTIST - IT COULD WELL BE CHEAPER.

I was scammed with a ultrafresh advertisement. I am out $79.99 plus the initial $0.99 to set-up the fraudulent charges. I am mad, and another victim. I cancelled my CC to protect myself because another product did the same technique. This is a total rip-off. I am now a hardened buyer. Don't buy it.

This is not a teeth whitener at all. Brushing with regular tooth paste does a better job. I've been waiting six months for my rebate, made dozens of calls and continue to be told "it will be sent in two weeks." At one point, I was told "the check was sent two weeks ago," and was given a bogus check #. I read everything and took all the steps in the process to assure a rebate check would be sent. They don't intend to give one, for the product and the company selling it are a full-blown scam. Take the advise given in all the reviews, and on many other websites, and don't purchase products online. This is not the only online scam I've confronted. They are prevalent on the internet. It is an environment conducive of fraud and theft. Another sign that America is in the crapper!

3 steps you can take now if you are a victim of this scam:

1. Chargeback. File a fraud charge with your credit card or bank and let them sort it out. They have more muscle to go after this sort of crime. Explain to them about all the consumer complaints that are on the internet and "insist" that they do charge-back or file a fraud charge. Your bank or credit card organization has all the tools necessary to find out where the charges are coming from, what business is involved, addresses and phone numbers connected to the charge and etc. You may not know or have access to this information. The banks and credit card org have all this at their fingertips and are obligated to handle the problem that has resulted.
More info at: http://www.chrismalta.com/scamtip1.asp

2. FTC. File a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission. Their job is to monitor and go after these types of scams. Go to: http://www.ftc.gov/ftc/contact.shtm

3. Attorney General. File a complaint with your state Attorney General and also with the Attorney General of Iowa (where a lot of the phone numbers and addresses seem to be located)

This is a very important post regarding Celebrity Sexy Teeth Whitener: As soon as you place a legitimate online order, the company will put you in their automatic ship and bill system that continues to send you their product every 2 months or so and automatically bills your credit card account. This will happen regardless if you ever place another order with them. This is a very difficult process to get out of and refuse payment on once it has started. Believe me. The product itself is mediocre at best, but the abduction of your credit card is out and out fraud, and a nightmare to deal with. Whatever you do, DON'T PLACE AN ORDER WITH CELEBRITY SEXY TEETH WHITENER!!

I ordered the product (Celebrity Sext Teeth) and in 60 days was automatically shipped 3 more tubes for a cost of 99.99! It is impossible to cancel since they only have a website and claim that they do not have your name in the database. I have sent back the last shipment with a letter to cancel but have not received a refund yet. I will also need to get a new check card so they are not able to auto ship anything else. What a SCAM!
