Celebrity Sexy Teeth Whitener (Scam)

I canceled the trial membership after 2 days of first enrolling to avoid future charges. Their terms and conditions (small print) says you have 15 days. I figured with my prompt cancellation, and an email sent to me with a cancellation confirmation #, that I would not be charged. Wrong I was. They charged me $149.95 17 days later claiming I had not canceled my account in time. I had even called a customer service rep who said I had canceled on that 2nd day but that my account was still open for some reason. I filed a refund request with the company and they denied my claim, saying that I simply left my account open past the 15 days. That is BS. I have the proof, they verified, now they have scammed me. I will fight these bastards until I get my money back if its the last thing I do. DO NOT FALL FOR THE TRIAL OFFER...IT IS A QUICK WAY FOR THEM TO UNLAWFULLY CHARGE YOU $150!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

like an IDIOT! i also fell victim to this crap. does anyone know of a good hitman? i would be happy to "throw some money in the hat" to take out the person/persons involved in STEALING money from honest hardworking people like myself.

BEWARE i ordered a supposely sample for 99 cents exacly 15 days they got 149.95 from my dedit card went back where i had ordered the same could not find anything went to the very bottom of the page was clicking on everything looking for a phone number clicked an another box opened up it said if you did not cancle your membership in 14 days your card would be billed is this leagle had i known i would not have even tried the sample i am disabiled and my husband is laid off i just lost my father to lung cancer and am trying to save enough for a head stone had can they leaglly take adavantge of you this is fraud to me but i dont know how to persue it and stop everone else from being taken adavatge of does anyone know what i can do my email is richloretta@yahoo.com

This is a total scam. I was lucky to have been rebated by my credit card company after making numerouus phone calls to both celebrity bright and my credit card company. In general if a product really works it will be sold in stores. (stay away)

scam, i was lucky to find out and cancel my card before i was hit hard, then they tried to reenter my card and reorder me again, they are a no class sum company !

I'm embarrassed to say I'm scammed by them too. And I'm a lawyer. I printed a page off the web saying I have 17 days to cancel, I canceled on the 16th day, even have a confirm # of that, but they're telling me the actual terms are 14 days. They're refusing to reverse the $54.95 charge to my credit card. Someone who said he was in Florida, with an incomprehensible name and accent, kept saying the same thing. Needless to say I am writing to our AG, Andrew Cuomo [they want a street address; don't know if one of the above is good].

TO EVERYONE- I TOO JUST GOT SCAMMED AS WELL .THEY DEBITED MY CARD AND NEVER SENT ME THE PRODUCT. WHEN I EMAILED THEM SEVERAL TIMES AND ONLY GOT ONE VAGUE RESPONSE STATING "SORRY- WE WILL SEND OUT ANOTHER SHIPMENT SHORTLY". I FILED A COMPLAINT WITH MY BANK IMMEDIATELY TO CLOSE MY DEBIT CARD. I ALSO FILED A FRAUD CLAIM WITH MY BANK. MY BANK HAS BEEN AWESOME IN HELPING TO RESOLVE THIS. THEY ARE CREDITING ME MY MONEY BACK AND TALKED WITH THE COMPANY WHO "SAID" THEY ARE GOING TO ISSUE ME A REFUND...THAT REMAINS TO BE SEEN..EITHER WAY, I HAVE LEARNED MY LESSON AND I EVEN GET MY $$ BACK...THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR YOUR INPUT TO HELP ME NIP THIS IN THE BUD..HOPE THIS HELPS YOU !!!!!

I specifically declined their offer of n annual subscription. They billed me for $149.95 anyway. The product does seem to work ok. One tube isn't enough to last very long, though. I will be reversing this charge from my checking account and cancelling my debit card. These people are crooks from the word go.

Definitely a scam. Charged us $150 shortly after the order. We canceled our credit card.

This is a F ing scam, I called to cancel and still charged me, was put on the phone with some sort of customer service idiot who hung up on me, could not even understand what he was saying half the time. DO NOT ORDER THIS STUFF! SCAM SCAM SCAM. Only found out about the scam after the fact.

Good morning Celebrity Sexy Teeth whitening system is being advertised in AOL homepage as good whitening product. When you look at the advertising thru AOL they claim a $20 discount will be issued, I did this and yet my credit card was charged the full price of $49.99. The discount is not being honored, and there is no way to contact the company. This has nothing to do with the product effectiveness but if they offer the product with a coupon the company should honor the coupon. Regards, Marilyn Silva

You want to trace the ownership of these companies. Go on sunbiz.org for their FLorida registration. I found a series of shell companies leading back to some sleezbag in New York. Shutting down your debit card/credit card is the smartest move as well as having your bank file a fraud charge. You can also go to your State Attorney office (every county seat has one) and file a complaint against the companies. I emailed the site where these s**t was advertised and berated them for not checking out their advertisers for being a scam. I will be reporting this to the FBI white collar crime unit as well as the Florida Bureau of Investigation.

All I can say is to shut down your card, file a complaint with the BBB and harass their A_ _! I can't believe I fell for their crap, but I did. They hire a bunch of
morons who can only recite the same lines over and over. The good thing....what goes around comes around and their time is coming!

SCAM!!!!!! You go to order for a trial price and the next thing you know your account is charged not .99cents but $54.95. You call and you are told that in the terms and agreement you have just so many days to either cancel or be charged the full amt and if you don"t cancel you are sent more and charged again. Funny thing is you are not given enough days to really see if the product works.

Celebrity SUCKS!!!

I also ordered a sample of celebrity white as i am impressed with the reviews (no clue whether its true or not). The sample cost $0.99 after applying coupon code. I did received it along with a big shock. They have charged my credit card for $149 for some non-sense subscription even after i skipped the subscription offers. They suspended me from using my credit card for some hours and i tried explaining the fact and finally i cancelled the subscription.
I am terrified that they would charge me again after some days. Please any one suggest me what would i expect next from these frauds?

I've spent the latter part of the morning reading all this and am sorry to say that Celebrity White Teeth scammed me too! To anyone reading this be sure to call back the fraud department that calls regarding this and cancel your credit card. Don't bother dialing any phone number the you're given or one that's on the website. My third try had me on hold for 10 min. 31 seconds. The number given to me by the fraud department was a number in my area code, which I called, and heard the message "this number has been disconnected". Hopefully, someone will find these people and shut them down!

This is a total SCAM. I got billed $149.95 and $54.95 BEFORE I even received the 0.085 ounce tube of whitener. Capital One fraud department called me to alert me. I have cancelled my credit card and gotten a new account.

I heard about this in a story on yahoo.com. Please don't get fooled by these simeballs.

They said 14 day trial period, when I called 10 days into it, they said I missed the grace period by a day and I got charged $149.95.
Customer service was useless since they are on a scripted and well rehearsed loop of BS.
I filed complaint with Better Business Bureau and was surprised to see I was the first. What's up with that people? I also contacted my local news consumer watch dog for help.

What a scam! I had never even heard of this company & when I was balancing my check book online, I saw a charge to their company. I called the 1-866 number to report the "error" & have the charges reversed. When I pressed 1 for a CSR I was put on hold for 30 minutes. I used my cell phone then to call (while holding on my home phone) & pressed 2 for shipping. Of course I got right thru. I was told that the only way to get a "refund" was to e-mail them (& pray I guess). I was also told that their "refund & billing dept" did not have a telephone number to call. I asked how their company got ahold of that dept. in an emergency. I was told that they can't. WHAT??? What if there was a govt. mandated recall on their product? (They have to be a legitimate business for that to matter.) I guess they would be the last to know since they don't have phones! I also asked to speak to a Supervisor. I was told first that the supervisor was in a "meeting" & then, less than 1 minute later, I was told that the supervisor was on the phone with someone else. Couldn't even keep their story straight? I then asked to speak to another CSR & was told that they don't have the equipment to transfer calls. Really? If you don't have the equipment to transfer calls, how hard is it to stand up, look over your cubical wall & say, "Hey, can you help with this call?" I have never recieved any of their "product" by any means. I had to look them up on the internet to see what their "product" actually was! I called my bank immediatly & talked to the bank mgr. (a very helpfull & nice woman) & she is walking me thru the process of "disputing the claim", "reversing charges", & changing my CC number. She assured me that my money would be returned 1 way or another even if the bank had to press charges against this company for theft. I also contacted my sister in law, who works for the FBI (all she will say is that she investigates white collar crime) & told her about the situation. I hope that this scam can be shut down ASAP! By the way, I first talked to a CSR, Marvin, & he told me that he was "closing the account" so that my CC would not be charged again. When I called back (again pressing 2) Mary, a CSR told me that the account had not been closed, but that she would close it & gave me a confirmation number. Since their "refund dept & billing dept" don't have phones she could have just given me the number of scams they are trying to pull today.
