Works great! My three daughters all asked what I was using on my teeth at different times this year. I know somethings working when they want to take beauty advise from me.

Just spent the last hour and a half rinsing, painting and stretching out my lips over a light for what? 2 shades whiter? I quit smoking back in January and it had slightly yellowed my teeth. The only good thing I can say about this product is that it gave me no tooth sensativity. I'm thinking about just spending the $250 at a professionals office and finally getting the results I want.

I purchased this product yesterday and I wanted to get my teeth a bit whiter I did the color check and it was about a 13-14 I only did the process 8 times and I went whiter than the number 1 This product is awesome. My dad is going to buy some after he saw my results. This is awesome. I have used whitening before Rembrandt to be exact ,and it works good as well but I did not even do the recommended amount fo times with LUSTER and it turned out awesome.

Waste of time and money. No results whatsoever. Don't waste your time.

I bought the kit on sale at Rite aid last week for $29.99 orig. priced $49.99 I did the whole 20 treatments.. took me a GOOD Hour 1/2 to complete I didnt see ANY difference w. my teeth and i am about a lever 4 on their color chart. then i just finished up the product a week after i did the first 20 treat ment i got another 5 treatment out of the rest of the product and STILL no change in my teeth... i dont smoke drink coke coffee tea Ect. to stain my teeth.. so i cant imagine mine wouldnt change easily!!! IT DOES HAVE 100% satis. gaurentee SO im goin to send mine back and see what happens.. GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!

This is what i do and its works the best. I bought the luster kit just for the light. I buy the Crest advanced Seal whitestrips then bought the refill pack of 22% gel from Venus. I use the 22% gel on the whitestrips then use the luster light. AMAZING results. My teeth are just as white as going to BriteSmile or Zoom! The best thing is the Venus whitening gel will last up to 2 years in the refridgerator.

Did an alright job. Not the best by any means. It's extremely inconvenient and expensive. With that said I did see a noticeable difference. It wasn't mind blowing but, a nice difference was made. I was happy at that point. UNTIL it went back to normal 2 days later! Recommend? Sure, I cannot call a product garbage just because I didnt have the best experience with it...

so the day i used this i thought "wow this is great!!!!" but just 2 days after use the results were already gone. what a waste of time and money.....

My teeth were not very stained starting out, but after using the product I did not see ANY difference! I think I will try the solution that Page from Canada updated in her post.

This works amazing! I recently quit smoking but the nicotine left my teeth yellow so I wanted to treat myself to a teeth whitening system. Today is my second day using it and my teeth are already so much whiter! Highly recommend.

I applied this stuff on my anal cavity in just seconds after the light hit I had a intense burning sensation next thing you no my anal was as white as a sheep.

I found that my teeth were maybe one shade lighter after 10 treatments so i stopped.... my teeth were about a four on their scale which is totally bogus cause they seem very yellow to me!

I have tried many whitening products (white strips, whitening gel while tanning, and 2 hour Rembrandt) over the years, always in search of something better and stronger. My teeth were never super yellow to begin with, but this one has done absolutely nothing. The best one I've ever used was the 2 hour Rembrandt whitening. It's the strongest and you can see a difference after two hours! TRY IT!

Alright, so I've had pretty bad stained teeth for as long as I can remember and absolutely went through one whitening strip package to another only to find that my teeth can only go so far and I still wasn't satisfied. I wanted White Teeth and that's the reason you get this things so you can finally have White Teeth! Not so it can go down just a few shades because honestly if these things didn't promise a White Smile, we'd just all spend the money and go to the dentist to get a real treatment. My take on this particular product and a few others, they all work and if it didn't work for you or didn't come close to getting you that White Smile, you just need to look for stronger treatments and combine them like I did. This will be a problem if you have sensitive teeth/gum. My teeth in particular were the most stubborn stained teeth ever and thankfully my gums are like steel because in 2 days, I pounded these things with 10 treatments of the Luster White and the 2 Hour Rembrandt treatment back to back. I know... it's almost crazy to bleach that hard but I was just tired of how stubborn they are and not producing nearly satisfying results. What happened the next morning when I woke up was just awesome because my teeth were white! Yes... finally... so does the product work? Absolutely, I've gone and combined all these things together like using the Rembrant treatment while blue lighting my teeth all at once or with the crest strips and bam.... finally results. If you go through these treatments with these different products and aren't finding the Whiter Smile but in fact have terrible side effects, just take your money and go to the dentist to get a professional treatment, even now after spending all this money on 6-7 different products, my smile could have been sparkling celebrity status white if I'd just fork over the money and get a professional treatment all together, but for now, these results I can live with.

I have always had fairly white teeth, but in the past year I noticed that they had become dingy and not nearly as bright as they once were. I'm middle aged, so that's not surprising, but my teeth have always been naturally very white, and my best feature. I have tooth sensitivity, so I didn't want to use something that would hurt. I have to say, Luster did not hurt at all. I was careful to use a lot of vaseline on my lips, inside and out, and was very careful not to allow any of the solution to touch my gums. I did get some on my lip once and instantly felt it burn, so I was careful after that and didn't have any problems. But I did a full 20 treatment, one full hour of whitening, and can say that the only difference I saw was a slight lightening of the yellow on my bottom teeth. I didn't see any difference on my upper teeth that was noticeable, but it's hard to tell.

This sucked but I did find that if you buy crest white strips and use the light from this you get a great outcome =)
I live in a small town in and it cost me $65.00 , I am out money and time!

I was looking for a quick and affordable teeth whitener. I was skeptical of the blue light product but after 10 applications, I noticed that it was lifting the stains and the yellow color of my front teeth. I have one front teeth that is capped and the other is my natural teeth. Compared between both of them, the capped teeth was much whiter, the natural teeth was yellow due to drinking coffee, sodas and smoking. After 15 applications, the natural front teeth now looks more like the capped teeth color. I enjoyed seeing the result that I kept on going into the 20th application. The final result is AMAZING! I am really happy with the product and for the price of $40, it was worth it. You can't expect the bright white that you get from the dental office for $250, but it does lift the stains and gave me 4-5 shades lighter!

LOOK AT MY PRETTY TEETH! I have very sensitive teeth and this product did not bother me at all. I did 10 - 2 minute treatments in about an hour while watching a movie. No big deal at all. I did smear my lips INSIDE AND OUT with a soft lip balm to prevent burning. Worked great. I got at least 4 shades whiter. Now my teeth look natural instead of bright bleach-white which is not normal. I want people to say "look at her pretty teeth" not "oh, I bet she bleaches her teeth". A+ for this product.

*However, it appears that due to the varying degrees of efficacy with this product, that it clearly only works on stains from foods and nicotine, NOT from "age" stains or those who have yellow teeth due to heredity, or other unusual reasons.

Though I was initially very skeptical, I was absolutely astounded at the instantaneous result. The very first "2 minute cleaning" made a 4-5 shade difference for me. I went on to use the whitening gel 4 more times and each subsequent use I achieved roughly a 1/2-1 shade lightening. However, as I previously pointed out, I believe that it worked for me due to the nature of my stained teeth, i.e., food/nicotine.

I was so shocked, I actually questioned my results. You all know exactly what I mean, too; that "placebo-effect" can be quite powerful! I requested confirmation from my kids. My four foster teens agreed that it was "significant", and my four-year-old asked, "Wow, where'd you get your new teeth, mom"?

I, myself, did not perceive this as complicated, not in any way. For those who are as impatient as I am, just paint on the whitening gel and go about your daily routine. I did my dishes. After the second application of whitening gel, I turned the light back on several times in between the subsequent application (s) of the gel rather than reapplying every time the light went out. Whether the light made any difference, and though I seriously doubt it did, I will never know. It does, however, prevent the gel from being prematurely removed from your teeth, as simply closing ones mouth will eradicate most of it. That alone was reason enough for me to continue using the light.

So, for me, the results were paramount. I have utilized quite a few other over-the-counter teeth whitening products over the past 3-5 years and I've never achieved results quite so expeditiously.

Again, due to the varying origins behind the stains, this is clearly a considerable factor in the extent of whitening that one will achieve with this product.

I just started using this product and it works GREAT! I did the treatment 2 times one right after the other and it whitened my teeth at least 2 shades so far! It does sting a little bit around the gum area at first, but I think that means its actually working! I would recommend to anyone!

what a waste of time. My teeth are not really that "stained" rating about a 4 on the chart that came with it. There was no noticible difference for me at all. I was disappointed

I was optimistic when I bought Luster 1 Hour White. I have pretty stained, yellow teeth and I wanted to see some quick improvement. The product was easy to use, but after 2 hours (the whole process takes longer than 1 hour--you have to do three steps between each 2-minute whitening session) I noticed a SMALL difference--my teeth were a little brighter. Also, my gums were stinging very badly afterwards. I think it's true about light-activated teeth whitening just dehydrating your teeth and making them appear whiter temporarily. Two days later, my teeth were back to their original shade. How disappointing!

this is the worst product ive ever bought. i never write reviews but i figured i HAD to with this. rinse paint and repeat every two minutes for an HOUR. for nothing but bleached out gums and maybe 2 shades IF THAT whiter. im going out and buying whitestrips tomorrow. this product is a joke. i even read reviews when i was in the store, on the edge of whether or not i should buy and it read suched mixed reviews like the ones on this board. take my word for it, this SUCKS! buy crest whitestrips instead
