Another company promoting the Alta White teeth scam:
Just for anyone who is interested, the comments concerning people getting paid to write reviews for this product are true. An acquaintance of mine was recently paid to do work for this company and part of the project was to write a review proclaiming how well it worked for them when they have not even tried it. Please use caution when ordering this product.
I was about to try out this product and pay> I am greatful that I read all your comments. Thanks to all of you that i did not go for it. Surely the police should do something about this and arrest those bastards!!!!
I got sucked into this scam. Placed the order, then saw all the scam articles so I immediately tried to cancel. None of the phone numbers go anywhere - just a recording that tells you to go online. When you try to cancel online, it does not stop the monthly deliveries. Soooooo frustrating! It arrived 2 weeks after I ordered it - I guess so most people work cancel in time. I had called my credit card company for help within 24 hours of placing the order, they said they can hold payment for Idolhealth, but if they bill under a different name it could still hit my card. Cant believe I got caught in a scam like this! Billing all that $ for a product that doesnt work!
I have tried this product and it is definitely a scam. I called the company immediately after I had understood about the fraud. However, I recently tried another product, called Idol White and it really works great. I am 100% satisfied about it - it is just a teeth whitening pen, really convenient and extremely effective considering its size. Try here now - whiteningpen.info/teethwhiteningpenfreetrial.php
Really Bob ? And am I supposed to believe Kim Kardashian buys free trials of whitening products from the internet? - you fail to tell people when pointing them to this convenient hyperlink that within 14 days of ordering a fee of £70-£80 will be taken from their credit card accounts for a "lifetime membership" of the product.

Wow. Saw this product online and figured I better research the internet and locate reviews! Glad I did. I will not be trying it, but I wanted to thank you all for your reviews! At least you saved one person from being scammed. Hope you guys get your money back!
It's a really scam, the charge you without a membership even if you don't confirm electronic with your visa. Visa also is guilty by this because the let them do their scam bussines.
You are warned, do fall for this and don't agree with you credit company Visa if they charge you without that you confirm electronic the payment.
Visa don't mind even if you complain and that you are right. They think that we cannot do anything.
Proof that they are wrong and cancel you Visa membership.
I dont believe it! I was also scammed but today i have been refunded the equivalent of $130 (£78) by Provillus! I have also returned a Premium White product and am waiting to see if i will be refunded £55 from Sup*smilebright. Im hoping my luck will stay with me through this.
Incredible, the Altawhite scammers even post fake reviews here. Don't believe them. It pure fraud. The tried to charge me twice. First for about$120, then for about $50 (first transaction declined because of insufficient funds). The $50 transaction was made 2 days before expiry date of the card. I reported them to VISA and other authorities. Everybody should do this. It's the only way to stop them.!
This is an unfair operation. It was not made clear at the time of sample purchase that they would then charge a lifetime membership fee for $120 US (converted to $130 Canadian). To avoid irritable clients they should give them fair warning. I will not further support this company and their operation just for this reason!! Beware Nutralogy!
I was initialy charged over $10 extra for shipping costs. I agreed to pay one amount and when I confrimed the next screen showed I was being billed more. I let that go. Then 14 days later I noticed a charge for $119 and change. I called and spoke to them. They said when I agreed to the free trial I also agreed to a lifetime membership if I didn't cancel withen 14 days from my acceptance. She gave me NO option to cancel my membership stating that was not possible after the 14 day trial period.
The product does not work. Now I am worried that I will be seeing other charges as well. COMPLETE SCAM!!!!
I actually found this stuff to be quite good. Clearly the majority of people have found it to be otherwise. I had the free trial (took a week to get to me) and cancelled it as soon as I received it, with no problems. Didnt send it back and was only charged for the post. I found this site because I wanted to order more but thought I would check it out a little more before submitting to a ife time supply. I am glad I did. I wont be signing up with them. So thank you all for your sharing your experiences. Furthermore, I have found this site that others may find useful. http://www.bbb.org/edmonton/business-reviews/health-and-medical-products-scientifically-unproven/1021018-alberta-ltd-in-sherwood-park-ab-153474. Not only does it discredit Alta White, but all of its subsiduaries and other companies associated with it. You can also look up other companies to see if they are legit. Hope this helps.
I scam them this is what the get for robbing people I
placed my other with a ten dollar gift card and got my
teeth whitener only cost me shipping plus I have cash
left ha ha ha ha they won't be getting no more money.

I suggest many of you try reading the terms and conditions before buying anything. This is not a scam and actually works, I have had results. It states at the bottom of the order page what is involved in the sign up. I have canceled my subscription for now as I am happy with my results. I have had no issues. Try using the product as directed. Read the fine print before purchasing anything.
Holy cow...I went to cancel my trial offer on the 14th day after ordering and I still get hit with a 119.93 "lifetime" charge. The 14 day trial offer is an "implied" period for one to "try" the product and not a 14 day period for you to loose track of time for an automated withdrawal to hit your account. I did not receive the product for 3 days after ordering so, if nothing else the "trial period" can be construed as a fraud. Although the ordering clerks were kind as they expressed their regret that I was bamboozled, they could do nothing for me. They gave me a (818) 303 9253 number that no one will answer to dispute my issue. Talk about inconsistency, the partner offer for "stay whites" was ordered at the same time and their 14 day trial period does not end until Dec 30th. Thanks. I just wish I would have done better homework before I ordered the "free" trial offers. I failed to remember...if it is too good to be true, it probably isn't (good or true). BUYERS BEWARE!!!
Try contacting your credit card company ASAP to dispute the charge. Arrange for a call to the fraudulant company with your credit card company on the line, too. This worked beautifully for a fraudulant experience I had with a trial offer. Be persistent and do not give up! They are robbing you!

I placed an order for a free trial of TWO tooth whitening productS from a company called ALTA WHITE & some other one. The deal was - you have to get two different free trials from different companies, just cover shipping (about 2$). well, two weeks later, on dec 8th charge came in for 119.93$ (1207 PROVILLUS 8007564120 818-303-2600 CA 24707809341714337760635). another week later I have found an additional charge of $86.93US levied by a company called Sup*Smilebright (1221 SUP*SMILEBRIGHT 877-5947850 OH 2433239935700001229296). and yesterday another charge for 48.23$ (SUP*WHITETEETH 0018669893774 OH). Looks like its a scam and all the companies connected! I was not advised of this companies existence, let alone authorising any payment. Obviously a scam and taking advantage of people who can least afford it. Beware, I didn't think that the credit card companies could approve a payment without the cardholders permission. Apparently they can. and this is another site which promotes this crap : www.bestlifeshop.com
did you manage to put a stop to this.i have had money taken from my account by the same names you mentioned.

I too have been well and truly duped - along with many others it seems...... I received a tooth whitening kit from Alta White - but have been stung by some company who is theiving money from my bank account. They have taken various amounts from my bank account over the last 3 weeks - in various transactions in the names of ultifreshwell - nutralogy - beutyclub and vibrantbeauty. Totalling over £176. Money I can't afford to loose. My bank has sent me form to fill in - asking me to contact these companies and formally cancel my contract with them - however I can't find a telephone number or an address for any of them - just complaints in the same vein as my own.... Any one know where to contact them ?? email - phone number etc?? This company is fraudulently stealing from us - please help stop them doing so.....
the same has happened to me.several different companies like sup*white teeth and sup*smilebright and prewhite. i will now contact my bank to ask them how to stop payments to these tricksters . have managed to stop everbright smiles without too much trouble.-or so i think!will let you know if i find any more out.

Serves you right for not reading the terms that come with the small asterisk behind the "Free trial". You agreed to the terms so it's your own fault. Inet business is a dog eat dog world.
Interesting that two posts from Holland recommend this product. It is of course a scam and I have been cought out like the others. Tommy is right - you have to report your card stolen in order to get it blocked - don't just cancel it - that will not stop any further debits.
I have contacted Lloyds TSB to get the charge reversed, and hope they accept it.
Meri, Washington Jan 02 '10
No one deserves this. Yes we should have read but you don't offer a free trial to try a product if it is really a memership. Not only that but most people don't get the crap until AFTER the trial is up. And if this is so great, why the hell can't you cancell it? Why is it so hard? And why do they continue to take money out? They are frauds that have found a loop hole to hide behind.

u twat!
yes, one should be more observant of these things..... but people like u saying things like that only encourages this sort of operation!
u are siding with fraud u idiot!
Meri , Washington Jan 26 '10
I don't see how I am siding with this fraudulant company. Most of the people here tried calling numbers that are never answered, told they agreed with something they didn't understand or was not clear, or had to cancell credit cards to keep this company from taking more money out. And before you call me an idiot, you should learn to spell. You is not spelled u. You should learn to read as well. My questions are legitimate and in no way encourage or side with any of the 80 some odd fraudulant companies offering the same thing. While I am on it, my dentist recommends Crest White Strips. I looked and it contains the same type of stuff, only gentle and cheaper. I also found another product for $10 at Walgreens with a big tube of the same type of gel, the mouth tray and great instructions.
Bill, Worthing Jan 27 '10
Hi Meri - I think he was referring to Janus's contribution. I managed to stop any further charges by finding the phone numbers and cancelling. They sounded so reasonable and helpful so I did not castigate them for setting the whole scam up as a trap for the unwary and trusting buyers. People are not inclined to read conditions when ordering on line from, say, Amazon.
I note that on the msn site there are still ads with the killer condition that you will be enrolled if you do not cancel. I wrote to our Daily Telegraph to ask if they knew about this entrapment but have had no reply.

What a joke, to date I have been charged £250. I cancelled the product well within the 14days. Didn't send it back as I wasn't aware. And why the hell did they want it back? I'm hoping they didn't send me out a recycled product. My bank appear to be as useless as the company. Thats all my christmas money gone and I've called the company numerous times and they have said that there should only be one transaction of $40 going out, so I said I've been charged £250 and the girl said "Sir, that is the equivalent to $40 dollars. Either the exhange rate has gone to pot or they are totally taking the p***.
Another mug who has fallen for these scamming bastards! £320 from FOUR different Companies, oversee charges etc etc! I used my debit card and the fraud line in your bank will cancel and change your debit card number and also under their indemnity insurance refund all the money you have been ripped off for

I too have been caught out in this scam. I've only been in receipt of the Alta White for six days and already £79.95 plus the cost of postage etc., have gone from my account. To make matters worse, when I placed my order, their system ostensibly would not accept my debit card nor my other credit card. It then acceptd the third card that I tried? I have today discovered that I have been billed twice, once on each card. Yet another nice little twist to the fiddle. I am not yet sure of what steps to take, but do not intend to accept the situation. I did manage to speak to some little girl in their American office but I may as well have talked to the cat! My advice to any prospective customer----LEAVE WELL ALONE.
you thought is marvelous but actually i am suffering from yellow and week teeth can you have any idea about it if you have any idea about this then reply because it is very essential part because:-
a)It is best part of body
b)part of beauty
c)healthy teeth required for best
d) to prevent tooth decay and gum disease
how this one product i want your suggestion

This company needs to be shut down and removed from the web and the only way that might happen is if enough people get together to do it. As one of those caught by them I am trying to get as many others who have also been stung to contact me. If we get enough we may be able to convince a law firm to issue a class action suite against them. I'm disabled and cannot afford to pay for solicitors but if enough of us get together we may be able to get one who will do it on a no win no fee basis. So if you have been caught please get in touch - hamish1511@yahoo.co.uk I look forward to hearing from all of you- I know there are thousands of you out there.

This product greeat! i use every day, much more white teeth.
Iam not from company and try to promote product! Believe me, i try and i think great!
You must email of phone them and tell them to CANCEL any membership you have with them as even though you've cancelled your card they can still draw against your account . Ask for a cancellation notice to be sent to you by email so you have the proof.

Hi Cath,
I have also got caught out and have been trying to cancel AltaWhite and a second company, which I think is Premium White, but the website has changed so I cannot double check. Tell me, how do you mean that they can keep 'drawing on Danny's account', inspite of cancelling the card? I have cancelled my card, and on your advice, I will email both those companies... no money has been taken yet, but I do want to cancel but it is very hard to work out how and where to do so... thanks for your advice.

Cath Mar 30 '10
Hi Victoria
By purchasing the offer you automatically get signed up for a repeat order every month which gives the companies authorisation to take out whats called a subscription or recurring payment - This seems to be anything from £30-£80 per company. This money will automatically be taken out of your account by a variety of different named companies all seem to be off shore and not American (the four companies that took money from me were in Cyprus) so cancelling your card is not enough.
Ring your bank - they can do nothing for 30 days but there after can recall any money taken from your account.
Get cancellation notices from each company and keep a close watch on your account - ie every day for the next month or so.
Any withdrawls you see which you do not recognise call the bank and ask they be claimed back.
If you don’t receive the goods (I didn’t) you can also claim the initial order amount back through whats called Chargeback if you used a credit or visa debit card.
It's a bit of a pain but if you keep on top of it you will get your money back and stop any further withdrawls.
They work on the premise that for every one person who does make a fuss in the first month and stop the payments there are 2 people who don’t and by the time they realise it they’re down £200ish.
Good luck!
Victoria Mar 30 '10
Thanks so much Cath - I really appreciate your comments and advice and will act on it.
I have emailed the Alta White people, but haven't received anything from the second lot. I think I used my credit card, so the companies won't be able to access my bank account as they haven't got the info - but I will watch both statements really carefully.
