Was a mug and fell for the free trial offer. Sent for Alta White and dazzlesmile as a free trial. I was initially charged more than expected for P&P. I have not even received the trial for altawhite and have tried, unsuccessfully (SURPRISE SURPRISE!!!!!) to contact them by email and phone. Both companies have now stung me for £190 before I realised and cancelled my card. An expensive lesson to learn!!!!!!! DONT FALL FOR IT, IF I STOP ONE PERSON FROM BEING SCAMMED I WILL FEEL A LITTLE BETTER.
i have retuned the product as requested on the9/11 09 by recorded delivery you have taken £80.57 from my account you stated if it was retuned unopened/unused within 7 days i would not be charged this was done so i await my refund as soon as possible yours rob wilkinson
Tommy I am sooo angry right now! I too was duped by MSN and have today been charged £50.34 two weeks ago £80.38..I feel to scream!!!!!!!!!!! I have alta white and dazzle smile both taking the mick out of me, Alta white have said I ned to return the product for a refund..what product havent received nothing!!!! Im so angry and I have a newborn baby so basically I feel like a fool for letting this happen to me. Absolutely baffled as to what to do
This is a scam, do not touch it. To get out of it send an email to support@healthbuy.com. Tell them to cancel your membership and ask for a cancellation ID number. If any further money is taken from your account, this is your proof that it has been cancelled.
Guys You have the right for upto 180 days if you feel you have been fraudulently charged or are unhappy with the product this is law and if anyone says any different then they are breaking the law themselves, this works for only Visa debit or credit card so dont let some stupid card controllor lie and blag you remember they are there to minimise costs to themselves and the merchant, they will blag away and make you feel stupid like its your fault and plead deniability dont let them threaten them with lawyers or close the account they wont like either, then might start to be helpful, first things first though cancel you card and get a new one this will stop any extra charges so the COn artists can sign you up and up too as many products as they like all they'll get is invalid invalid invalid, just make sure the bank closes the active card because they generally dont stop the old card for thirty days after unless it was stolen!!!! just a tip found out today at the bank. if you need proof of chargeback which the consumer magazine has nice section about it on this link http://www.which.co.uk/advice/your-rights-when-paying-by-credit-card/chargeback-on-credit-and-visa-debit-cards/index.jsp
seriously give it a gander and get your money back dont let the B******s win and seriously add your story to the guy in the link in my previous post and hopefully we'll get them shut down once and forall
I too have been scammed by these theives. I have been trying for days to get a phone number someone will either answer or has not been disconnected. What I just found out was this company and it's partner company also automatically sign you up to other products! I have been signed up to a world club fitness and a diet plan. Both will take further money from your account. These are another £80 each so they will take at least £340 per month from you account! AVOID!!!!
Update: Before my card was cancelled they have taken just over £200 from my account! I cannot put in a claim to my bank for 30 days to make sure I don't recieve any further products from them. They auto subscribed me for a further 4 products and cannot be cancelled. The other company dazzle white, I managed to cancel but Alta White won't let me cancell online, have not replied to my emails and have no working phone numbers! To say this is a scam doesn't even come close. Shame on America for not doing anything about an Amercan company scamming people all over the world! America's recession will be over quickly at this rate, as the rest of us idiots are paying for it!

ive just cancelled the product (alta white) and transfered all my money into saving account. does this will make sense? do i will still be charged? do i have to cancel my debit card? if i were to re-send the product to them, will i still be charged?
help, i feel very much uncomfy now.
Lesley, Glasgow Nov 20 '09
Hiya,
If you have ordered both products and received them then you have to send both products back unopened. Even then it's not guaranteed that they won't take money off your card. When you cancel both products they still autosubscribe you for other products. I was autosubscribed to 4 other products! So you mught be better off cancelling your card anyway. If you cancel your card tell them it's lost so they cancel it right away and no more money can be taken.
Good Luck!

ive just cancelled off my card this morning, and i feel a LOT relief now to the extend i don't even bother to re-send the trial product (if i were to received them in a few days). i just couldn't imagine if 200GBP were "robbed" from my account! goshh!
nway, thanks!!

I have just noticed an £80+ payment being debited from my account from this company. I was convinced by the reviews that had been left on a Consumer Review website detailed on MSN! I am so frustrated that I have been scammed by this company. I have NOT contacted the company as of yet (only noticed debit today) and don't feel confident in getting a hold of them after reading the reviews. However, I have cancelled my debit card with my bank and was advised to contact them if I have no luck with the actual company. I would be interested to hear if the company will cancel the subscription if you are outwith the 14 days. I DO NOT want to receive more of the products as decided NOT to even use the free trial.
At no time throughtout the buying process was it mentioned to me that I would be automatically enrolled into a lifetime membership of £80 every 30 days. This is hidden at the bottom of the T&C's this is Fraud It is not plainly stated please follow this link to find out if like me you were duped http://www.killphishing.com/scam.htm They also dont tell you about the international handling fee!!!!!! This put me over my overdraft limit and now I have to pay my bank £50 for the privelage What a con and to believe this product was advertised on MSN homepage!!!!!!!! shame on MSN
Hi there, Did you ever get your money back or fully cancel the subscription? Thanks
Tommy, UK Nov 09 '09
Hi Natalie, this only happened to me on Saturday so I went to the bank today. because the £80 is earmarked not cleared I have to wait until thursday to phone the bank up. It clearly is a con because they change your 30 days to 14 when they debit your account with the shipping/handling fees. This is how they get away with it most of the time. you basically do not have a leg to stand on that is why no phone number.
It took about an hour an me threatening to close my account completely before a manager took me into the back office where she phoned on my behalf (Oh I was on the phone to card services who was telling me there was nothing I could do and I would just be kept on being charged £80 every 30days. She said to send via post recorded delivery and resolve it that way PAH I said thanks very much but I'd rather close my account and bank elswhere.)
So the manager took me out back has put a stop on any transactions on my account closed my old card and now I have a new one on its way, because you gave the old card number it will void any old transaction setups including direct debits. Pain to re-setup but worth £80 per month.
I have been given the number to ring on thurs to get my money back but thats wait and see and for the bank charges she took them off right away so I am part way there getting it sorted but hey no refund for the £20 0845 number I had to ring or the time and inconvenience.
But hey Got one back on the con artists yippee
will update on thurs to let you know how it goes but its another 0845 number!!!! spend £40 to get £80 back!!!!!! LOL

this product is so crap, it is completely rubish, and i mean rubbbish i tried it, there is absolutley no difference and it may even have made my teeth look worse. do not be tricked by their adverisements because this product is not what it says on the packaging. i hope you read this before you buy it because it is a waste of your money. good luck, don't let these idiots trick you. it doesn't work well at all but you have to tick it because it is compulsary
Today is my 14th day so last chance to unsubscribe ,I called the office -no problem, and I just asked if it definatley is ONLY one payment of $99.95, and next time I order I will only pay for shipping and handling. And yes that is what it is, also I was told that if I decide to stay with them they will refund me half of the price. So in my opinion $45 and next $10 for next order is worth it. It really works I used it 4 times and my teeth looks great already ! :) Plus you can make some money on it... u can sell it to other people who do not want to subscribe... I am staying in , I am really happy with the product so much easier then trays and gel...
I 'bought' the free trial and have been unable to cancel my 'membership'. I have spent hours on the internet and on the phone (it is never answered). What must I do? Anybody got any ideas. The product is lying unused in my bathroom as it looks like rubbish!! Instructions read blah blah ....smile for 15 minutes!!! Sorry but I don't have the time or the energy!!
I am another unsatisfied "customer" who has paid for a trail offer but I am now having more money taking out my account. Go to your bank and let them know of this scam, we must be able to file a fraud claim!!! Spoke with someone today at my bank and this is very common and they have policies in place to deal with it, all else fails cancel your bank account!

Hi all,
yeah I got scammed too with Alta white, it came up on my credit card as billed from NUTRALOGY, they've just taken another £84 from my card and I never asked for the product. They'll keep sending out each month till you'cancel'. Problem is it's virtually impossible. I've got my bank heavily involved and told them it's a scam and I can't contact anyone to cancel. They looked into it and said they'll send me a letter to sign which will cancel it as far as the bank are concerned. If any more products arrive after that chat with the bank, they'll take on the responsibility to refund the money directly. So hopefully I'll just have the posttage charges to date and lessons learned! I hate scammers!!

I received the 14 day trial offer for Dazzle Smile & Alta White. The only thing you NEED to make sure you do is cancell the contract after taking the offer and there will be no problems. Product works reasonably well, but, hey, what do you expect for a cheap home product! Very Practable and easy to use. The only down side is that i had to pay (@ around 5 brittish squid) shipping cost. good job ive been working those extra shifts on da corner!
I tried three of these so called "Free Trial" offers. The products results were so-so. I canceled all within the trial period, but Purelywhite and Dazzlewhite still charged my MC with around $90 USD each and were the worst offenders.

How did you manage to cancell the Alta White trial. I have been unable to do this via their web site or by phone
Help would be apprieciated

I haven't been able to cancel either, called my credit card company and they can only deal with the charge each time it comes in so am having to make monthly calls to them. Have tried calling the company but they never answer and you can't cancel online or return the product - anyone got any ideas?

ALTA WHITE, DAZZLE WHITE, CELEBRITY SMILE, and all the rest are all SCAMS... HUNDREDS of them--- all part of the same organization.
Read the investigation report at www.killphishing.com/scam.htm
I got the trial and had no problem canceling...They have a link to click on called "Cancel Free Trial" right at the bottom of the page. You just put in your order ID and you are all set.
I don't think this product is a scam. I must say, it IS a bit expensive, but let's face it...they state exactly how and when they are going to charge you.
As for results. I have had pretty good results with their teeth whitening stuff. Anything else would have costed me an arm and a leg! I think it's worth it.
But that's just my opinion. Blatantly stating a product is a scam is a bit harsh. I'm a consumer and don't like to be scammed, but I think this was a straight shooter for me.
We ALMOST bought this product, then had the sense to read the 'Satisfaction Guarantee' which really is more of a 'Terms & Conditions'!! Check out the following statement.....
At the end of your RISK FREE TRIAL, you will be enrolled into our Lifetime Membership Program for just $99.95, non refundable. As a lifetime member, every 30 days for the rest of your life you can request a FREE 30 DAY SUPPLY of Alta White Trial and only pay shipping and handling ($9.95 each time)
Hmmm... for a product that you should only use a few times through your life, a 'lifetime membership' is quite worthless, and expensive. Buyer Beware!
I have used Alta White 'teeth whitening tips' a few times now, ever since the free trial offer has been running.. and I have to say it does work better than just using colgate whitening toothpaste on its own. For $6.95 you can't really go wrong.. I have noticed some good results with this product.
I got the trial and had no problem canceling...They have a link to click on called "Cancel Free Trial" right at the bottom of the page. You just put in your order ID and you are all set.

Hi again,
An update: phoned bank again and got a really nice woman. She told me they can't report it as fraud because i gave my card details, but she also says it should be! She cancelled my card as stolen so it's stopped right away. She is also sending some kind of letter to try and get my money back. So hopefully a good result. She also said I was lucky because I got it stopped right away. Some people are losing HUNDREDS in a couple of weeks because these companies autosubscribe you to fitness plans, diet plans etc. I completely agree with you Tommy we need to get these guys stopped. Good luck if you've just bought from them, your going to need it.
