The Dentech Whitenign System is a scam. You will see this product advertised on the internet through fake testimonials posted on blogs. While the product may certainly be better than the scam brush-on whiteners, the company uses far too many illicit marketing tactics to make it legitimate. Their website will try to lure you in with their free sample offer - you will actually be signing up for a month-to-month supply that will be billed at $88.97 per month.
Our Observations
Dentech Whtiening uses fake testimonial blogs to dupe consumers.
The product was never mentioned on any of the listed "as seen on" sites.
Their website uses a timer to create a false sense of urgency. They do not want you to read the terms and conditions.
Imagery on the box is also used on the landing page for celebritysexyteeth[dot]com (another scam product)
Read our article about teeth whitening scams here. The company behind Dentech Whitening is probably behind many of the other scam teeth whitening products.

After months of uncertainity.. I received a refund from Dentech Whitening and DazzleWhite cancelled me without consequence. I had to go thru the Pennsylvania Attorney's General's office to have it done. Both companies tried to make me out to be the villian and that they were completely innocent and honest... DazzleWhite cancelled my account outright without any back charges. Dentech Whitening refunded $88.97 & Health Well??? (Wellness) I believe this is their Axis Wellness (nonfunctional/nonexistant healthy living fraud website) credited me $9.99 so I got my money back but I had to go the legal route to accomplish it! Funny, seems the only way to get their attention is to get the law after them!.. BTW it took a couple months. Luckly for me my BANK recommended that I cancel my debit card to prevent further abuse from these crooks. I did so and don't regret it... They sent me another one immediatly. From what I'm reading... many banks are not so inclined to do so! Also ... I had registered complaints with the Alberta Canada BBB, and their territory's governmental comerce department: Competition Bureau / Bureau de la concurrence [compbureau@cb-bc.gc.ca] since the headquarters is supposed to be in Alberta, Canada. They were all familiar with these scammers and have had many complaints about them. I also filed a complaint with: Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) FBI. On another matter, I did a Search on "Google Earth" on 263 Olive Avenue #130, Burbank, CA which is "Dentech Whitening" mailing address... Google's Street view shows exactly what the address is: a "Rent-a-mailbox" in a strip mall! (Right down the street from the "Nickleodion" headquarters.) I intend to post this on the DazzleWhite website also.
Not a bad product but there was a hidden charge. I guess if the offer is too good to be true it is. Im not signing up for any more free trials thats for sure. I get all my stuff from toothwhiteners dot com now no hidden charges and they deliver promptly
THIS PEOPLE ARE SCAMMERS AND THEY ARE GOOD TOO. THEY WILL LIE TO YOUR BANK AND THE BANK MOSTLY LIKELY WILL TAKE THEIR SIDE BECAUSE THEY WON'T RETURN BACK THE MONEY.
This is the phone number for anyone who may need to contact this phony company. (DenTechWhitening) Good luck getting your refund!

In August I immediately called the phone number for information on returning merchandise that was printed on the outside of an unopened package of Dentech whitening that I believe I did not order, and I followed the recorded telephone instructions I was given, which told me to send an email for further instructions about returning the package. I never received a reply to that email, so I sought help from the credit card company. However, the credit card company has now reinstated the charge specifically because I had not returned the unopened package! So, I have been caught in what appears to be a vicious circle of scam. I wanted to return it immediately, I followed the instruction on the package, but I never received a reply to that request for return instructions.
I actually never used the product, I received a pkg and read that it cost me$89.87 and I checked with my credit union and I was charged $89.87. I called and tried to cancel and that person refused to help me,gave me the number for someone else. I sent an email asking for "RMA# to return the merchandise " and they sent me a email back that they would respond up to 48hours, that was August 16,2009 and haven't heard anything yet. I don't understand why with all of the many complaints about this fraud, nothing is being done. They are still advertising. I am so angry, I was stupid enough to use my debit card instead of American Express(I think that AE would have done something to get my money back. Now I am afraid to go on line and register for anything.
I am on my third request for cancellation, and so far...nothing. I tried to go through my credit card holder to cancel the request WITHIN 3 HOURS OF MY ORDER, and they couldn't do anything about this. I may end up cancelling my credit card just to get rid of this. Would a complaint to the State Attorney General's office help?
Same here. I am now in the process of getting with my bank to get my money back. Can't the US attorney general do something about this?

STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM DENTECH WHITE SMILE. You will not end up with a white smile because they are feeding so much CRAP to everyone. Even if you get a white smile it will not help you out any chewing their A$$ out.
DAZZLE WHITE...IS A SCAM !!! BUT HERE IS ALSO ANOTHER SURPRISE FROM 2 AFFLIATES OF DAZZLE WHITE !! The Affliate companies charged me this month also !!! On my credit card statement 2 months after cancellation of Dazzle White I have the following charges: VH ACCESS 888-332-2707 CYP $3.24 and HEALTHMEMBER 888-779-5303 cyp $7.14 reflected on my credit card. I called the toll free numbers and found out that they were authorized by my Dazzle White order to also charge me monthly for their products which is a weight loss program. After much discussion they cancelled out my "order" however would not refund me the $3.24 and $7.14 on my credit card. With much much discussion and asking for a supervisor I was able to get them to credit me back the costs. WATCH THEM !!! CHECK EVERY CHARGE ON YOUR CREDIT CARD STMT , EVEN THOUGH THEY ARE SMALL CHARGES THEY ARE STILL BEING CHARGED EACH MONTH AND MAY BE MISSED IF YOU DON'T CHECK YOUR FUTURE STMTS. Also thought I was getting a trial offer for $1.97 one time charge...until in very small print it stated credit card would be charged $88 every month after that. Dazzle White did cancel out my order immediately so thank goodness I didn't get stuck with the on going monthly fee, but affiliate companies were a total shock !! READ THE VERY TINY SMALL PRINT...BEWARE.
Nina from Madison. Look on the back of your credit card for your bank's toll free number. Call your credit card company( bank) and put in a complaint... usually the credit card company will credit back the charge until your credit card company can resolve the issue for you. That is alot of money to be charged. It's worth a try.

THIS IS A SCAM. THEY HAVE CHARGED MY CREDAIT CARD 3X FOR 88.00 AND I HAVE BEEN UNABLE TO GET ANY REFUNDS. STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE
I was on vacation and ordered online in the U.S. I TOTALLY regret taking that stupid offer...now im stuck paying $300 and had to cancel my card because it seems that it is not enough for them to charge me more product but they gave my credit card number to many other companies....i would NEVER EVER suggest anyone to buy the stupid product that doesnt even work.
Ditto with all the above comments. I REFUSE to pay my credit card provider the $88.97 fee. I contacted my credit card provider and filed a complaint complete with evidence that these scumbags are scamming people. My credit card company found if FAVOR of Dentech Whitening! DO NOT get a Bank Of America VISA card...they are as corrupt and greedy as the pieces of shit at Dentech. I still refuse to pay a penny to my credit card company for this bogus ripoff charge...just let them try and collect!!!
Not only bank of america my bank Wamu now JPMorgan Chase bank, after giving me the credit of 88.97, when I fax them all copies of dentech whittening scams and a copy of my receipt from post office "Refuse"stamped refused, which meant didn't get the product because I don't want it in the first place. Four months later December 2009 couple days ago they debit my account again for 88.97 because they took side with this dentech whittening"scambag" and told me to contact the merchant again myself. I feel my bank don't want to help me even though they also see I never have the merchandise that I 'm charged with. I tried to contact the merchant and when you talk to a live person he said my bank told them I accused them of fraud and can't do anything have to talk to my bank. They were very rude. So much luck on christmas for me this year. Barely living from paycheck to paycheck and have to foot this 88.97 plus overdrawn fees because of this amount debit on my account. I couldn't get any help from either of them. Can't afford a lawyer either. Never order online and never trust your bank either.

I can't find the words to describe how disgusted I am with this company and their deceptive advertising - fraud and scam come to mind. I've experienced everything that the others have complained about. Worst thing is all the additional memberships that I was inadvertently enrolled in when all I did was request a "free" trial offer of teeth whitener. Found out about them only when my credit union notified us of questionable charges. Each required a separate phone call to cancel my "membership". Could not/would not issue a credit for the amount already charged, but have been assured that I will not receive any further charges. We'll see. There should be a law against this. Is there?
I feel how disgusted you have right now. It happen to my in early August and thought I resolve it with my bank the claim department but this week just found out my account is debit for 88.97 because dentech whitening refused to refund stating I authorized, which I didn't. There goes my christmas fund. So People please go to Business Burea and file a complaint against this company. We don't deserve to be cheated this way. they should shout them down. I just file my complaint because I can't get any help with my bank nor this merchant.

This is a scam. They are cheater. I can't believe that they can do the cheating business like this openly. They advertised on Yahoo as if they offerred one-time deal. But when I ordered they automatically charged me as if I subscribed them. A deal of 1.99 or something turned out to be $100 after I had to call to stop them from charging me another time. They can't get away with what they are doing now.
This is definitely a SCAM!!! I too fell for the "tip" about getting a free trial for $1.97 and ended up getting charged $88.97. I had to send the item back before they would give me my money back. If they attempt to charge me again, I will definitely be raising hell, since I made it damn clear that I didn't want to be charged for anything except the $1.97 shipping fee. They make you think you're just getting the trial deal, but little do you know they are going to start charging you $88.97/month! GRRRRR!!! These people should be shot multiple times, strangled, beaten, dragged around by the neck, skinned and then beaten some more. I don't believe in religious crap, but people like this that make me hope there is a hell, just for them, sometimes.
There should be negative ratings for these scam companies. They don't deserve even a one.
I wish I would have read this before I got scammed out of a total of $150...until they reduced one of the prices half price which put me out of pocket $110...
I was expecting a free trial and could not afford this!
I've been scammed too, & noticed that Dentech, Dazzlewhite & the Health/slimming thing are all part of the same parent company as the retailer code showing on my credit card statement is the same for all 2524635.
I ordered 'trial' then rang and canceled Dazzlewhite & told to return product to get a refund of 1st monthly payment which was collected despite cancellation - I didn't know about the other 'add ons' so have been charged $24.82 which they will not refund even though I've not even had an email to gain access to the info (not that I wanted it anyway). As for Dentech, they are the worst of the lot, I emailed the given address & received the auto answer, the first time I did get a reply but only to say they could not identify me from the details given so I got back to them saying the details were correct & the same as on the invoice but have only had the auto replies since then & 3 charges to credit card. Has anyone got a phone number for them? I have contacted my card company & they are issuing a new card, having cancelled the one that was charged. The other annoying thing is, on my statements all the transactions have different names making it difficult to know who is taking what!!!! I have transactions going to; Beutyclub...Purely White....Teethwhite & Healthsmile NO MENTION AT ALL OF Dazzlewhite or Dentech. One last thing, despite all the charges I've not received any products!
Their adverts should be banned from the web. Please be warned & steer clear

well i have contacted my bank over this same scam and had to close out my CC and order a new one..i cant beleive after reading all over the internet that the Attorney Genneral of the US has not gone after these people..it's a scam when you call you get some teleamarketer type person and they refuse to let you talk to anyone who can cancel your account (beleive me i got in a shout matach with the 3 i talked with) they say email the company i did 3 damm times and they sill took money out of my my account so now between 2 different companys DAZZLE WHITE MAX and DENTECHWHITENING i am out over 250 bucks all this because of some ad on a yahoo page showing how this house wife got these sample for free just paid shipping..i thnk yahoo should pull this off the site and i hope that house wife got ripped off also..which i would almost guess.she was a employee of one if not both comapnys..SO BEWARE the little sweet old lady may be a wolf in sheeps clothing ready to scam you for your hard erned money..i do plan on continouing to conatack the Attorney Genneral
I too have been scammed. I am so pissed. I just spent 15 minutes with the 24-7 online chat. I reiterated that I cancelled. She gave me a cancellation number, told me I was charged $58.76 for a 14 day sample and just today they charged me for a 3 month supply. Who sends stuff out on Sunday? I told her cancel the order now. I am definitely going to report these Dazzle White people as well as the DenTech people to the Better Business Bureau and the attorney General of California.
I will change my account number if I have to, and they'd better refund my money because I haven't received anything anyway.

I am going to turn them in. First I am going to get my money back from those piece of shit. They can't do any better in their life than stealing money from others. I emailed the billing as I was told (if there is any billing department), but it's been over a week now, there is no reply. They said I should got a reply within 48 hours. I just called again and was told that they will forward (forward?) my email to billing..are you fucking kidding me? Then who did I email before, if not billing? For crying out loud!! I hope they go to hell, I hope they got their head chopped off, and I hope they got their limps eaten by nasty animals!! I am PRINTING ALL these reviews and file a police report and dispute with the bank and hope they will shut this nasty scumback down!!!

I TO HAVE BEEN SCAMMED , I HAVE EMAIL THE SUPPORT TEAM 5 TIMES AND NO REPLY, DO NOT GET THE FREE SAMPLE BECAUSE ITS NOT FREE ITS REALLY 89.00. YES EVERYONE NEEDS TO TURN THEM IN
I also fell into the dentech whitening scam. I thought i was paying for a trial offer of $1.97 one time I received the second shipment just a couple days prior to the 15 day time limit. I did not know that i was signing up for a monthly shipment that i can not afford to do. I have emailed dentech to get a RA# for return. If enough people file a report maybe we can shut down this scam organization
Let's report this as a fraud! I'm filing for a dispute if I don't get the full refund for the money they stole. They're thief!! A SCAM! A FRAUD! They make me sick in my stomach!! I am about to throw up!!!
Where can you file dispute, cause they got me again this christmas and my bank is siding with them. I've tried to contact merchant again and yes email and no reply back. I paid 88.97 plus overdrawn fees on my account because of this amount and I don't have the merchandise because I refuse to except so the post office return it to them but they won't refund it back. And with all this information which I shared with my bank they still didn't credit my account. Need some info HELP.

I had the same experience with this product. A TOTAL ripoff.I received the product 5 days before the 15 day cancel period. I thought I had 15 days to try the product. I was charged the 88.xx . I am reporting them to the Better Business Bureau and I told them that. They have agreed to charge me $39.99 and sent me the terms and conditions in 3 separate e-mails. Total fraud. DO NOT sign up for this.
I've been e-mailing these scammers for the past couple of days and the best I've done so far is get an partial refund offer of $39.99! I have threatened legal action but I'm sure these low lifes have heard that from hundreds of people. I called my credit card company to get the $88.97 removed but they couldn't help me either. I guess its on to BBB now, and maybe a Consumers Advocate group. Definitely stay away from Dentech!!

This is a a total scam. People, please don't even bother checking this out online. Unless you want to be charged $88.97 for a monthly subcription that you didn't realize you made while you're signing up for a free trial. This is a complete fake advertisement.
I was shock to see they charged $88.97 on my account today. I never signed up for subcription for this. I called the number to cancel the subcription and demanded a refund, I was told to send email to get a refund. Why the hell can't they do it over the phone?
I contacted your office within 14 days from the receipt of your "trial supply by email address www.dentechwhitening.com and canelled any further orders of this product as instructed by your staff at: 888-822-4806. This email message came back as undeliverable; therefore, I called back again today as not only did I return your product I am now in receipt of another order and my credit card has been charged 88.97.
I will be contacting my credit card company and reporting this erroneous or fraudulent charge to them.
Iordered the product for the initial asking price of $1.97 for the free trail. The $1.97 was for the S/H.I did not recieve anything in the mail.I went to check my account to notice that I was charged $88.97.I called the bank to retrieve the # .The so called call service claimed that I had recieved a package from their company just 2 days from this call,I asked what would be in the package. She the rep claimed that I would have to call customer support.I replied I thought I just did that,I then asked what was the $88.97 charge for ,she claimed membership.I ask what does the give you ,She claimed a refill a month.I asked for the Year .The rep replied no $88.97 a month every month will be charge to your account until you cancel this agreement.I am outraged.I want to shut these markets down.I did Cancell. But yet have I recieved a product.I have not recievd a refund, just email about the polocies from a Joey Santor something
Same experience here. I signed up for the free sample, and now 15 days later I have multiple charges on my Credit Card. When I called the bank, they were familiar with these people, but they told me that I had to get Dentech to reverse the charges because I had agreed to them on their web page. Dentech says no-way, because it's now 15 days. It's obviously a scam, and so far, they are working it very well!
They seem ready to fight this one out and steal every penny they can before they are forced to pack it up!
In their terms and conditions, they include the following:
Dentech Whitening

I just got ripped off, Sunday, August 2. I only asked for the sample and paid $1.97. I never authorized any other payments. I just sent a note to the company and demanded a refund. I am going to notify the better business bureau. You should too.
Lane, Stuart, FL Aug 10 '09
We should all do something as I was ripped off as well. You'd think some government agency would get involved by now. I'd like to take their products and see if it would whiten their asses as I shove it in sideways! Yes, as one can tell I'm just a little upset. I would appreciate the names and addresses of the agencies to report this fraud to if anyone has it.
Thanks

Never received probucts they called to say they had wrong addres. By that time I had received charges on my bank account from Dazzlewhite the other crook in this practice. Canceled that acct a couple of weeks later got charged $88.97 on my account. Called 888 got canceled order told to email support@dentechwhitening.com ask billing department for refund. Can not find the website.

I think the best way to deal with this is call the Office of Thrift Supervision.
This is the dept. of treasury consumer affairs division.
They can be reached at 800 842 6929. Hopefully they will file a class action.
Yes, I was also scammed, only they piggy backed two other companies and charged my acount for weight loss called vh access & healthmem healthmemb. Have no idea what that was.
