Dazzle White Review

The Dazzle White Teeth Whitener is a scam. A lot of consumers are being scammed by this one right now! You will see this product advertised on the internet through fake testimonials posted on blogs, forums and phony review sites. The product is also known as DazzleWhite Pro and DazzleWhite Now.

Our Observations

  • Dazzle White uses fake testimonial blogs to dupe consumers.
  • The product does not work and is over priced for a brush-on teeth whitener.
  • Their website uses a fake "qualification system."
  • Their checkout page displays a fake "dentist preferred" seal and has false "mcafee secure" and "truste" certification images.
  • They created many fake dazzle white review sites to decrease the visibility of legitimate teeth whitening review sites.
  • Dazzle White will also charge consumers for non teeth whitneing products/programs (read their terms and conditions).

I entered a 1, but I really have NO idea how well the products work. I was supposed to use two products together. Only one came. When charged 62.90 on credit card, I had to trace it back to brightner! No web, no email, no phone; finally taked to someone who sounded as if he were from India. He would make it go away. All I had to do was send back the unopened product. I sent it back. Charged yet another 62.90! The second product never came. The credit card bill did. That one was 87. 47! They did have a number. It was all my fault they said. I didn't "read the fine print." The fact that I never got the product didn't matter. Class action suit anywhere? I want IN.

I thought I had gotten rid of these scammers in 2009 after I filed a complaint with the CA Attorney General and the FTC. The AG's office followed up on my complaint and I got all $ refunded and letters from the scammers lawyer in NYC.

Until, small charges started to appear on my Visa bill from

8668877896 WEALTHIFIT(Other)

888-757-0715YOUR IMAGE(Other)

I called and got the run around. They agree to refund only one charge.

I file new complaints with AG and FTC today, and notified Visa company that charges are fraudulent.

Saw the ad for a free trial (only pay shipping $.99) for teeth whitener. Gave information. Decided it was too good to be true. Tried to phone to cancel. Phone message stated "we are closed." Tried to phone Monday morning, got through after about three hours of trying. The people on the phone were so rude, wouldn't cancel the order. Told me I had to send it back once it was received. Once I received the item I had to put the package in another package with insurance and send it back. Never received a refund. In fact I was charged $89.00 and $142.00. Then I saw a charge on my card for $25 for a world gym membership, and another $15.00 for internet service. This was in November and December 2009. Haven't received a refund, and the people on the phone are impossible to speak with. They don't want to hear it, the snottiest people I have ever had to deal with. No customer service skills whatsoever. Had to cancel my card. Every week I was being charged for something. These people should be in prison!!!!

I ordered on may 30, 2010, term/agreements states "cancel before 10 days and you won't get 87 dollar charge". I got suspicsious when I got a call a few days after the order and the woman started talking really fast and mentioned that I'd "won" pet insurance, roadside insurance, a few other useless things, and I said no way to the $15 a month charge for "Winning" this. I tried for an hour this am. to cancel (day 9) and when I got the guy he said I needed to respond to an email, press the link, enter his name, a password, etc. and call back if I didn't get it. When I got home, 4pm my time of course the email wasn't there and time difference made them gone. I called Target Visa, wonderful, really very helpful. Canceling card but the pending $87 charge goes through (they posted it on the 5th, 5 days in, not after the 10th day). I will get a new card, those jokers won't have my account for further rip off. I will dispute and Target investigates all situations of intended Fraud. I was instructed to call Target Visa back when bill comes, phone dispute will all this info. Well, lesson learned again, if it's too good to be true, it is too good to be true. BUYER BEWARE

I too was scammed. Got the info off the website for a radio station. Thought all was under control until today when I received a letter from a collection agency that I owe $139.95 because my credit card was declined from Purely White. My credit card has no record of a charge being declined nor have I ever had a charge declined. My last contact with them was a credit on december 21st 2009. Tried calling the phone numbers but they are not available currently. Got the collection letter today (saturday) and the money is due by Monday. Hopefully when I call them on Monday, they can give me a contact number for Purely Which is just an alias. Bottom line-these creeps are trying to ruin my excellent credit rating. Stay far away

These companies are the biggest ripoffs and should be hanged for their scam..
SmileBrite
ULTIFRESHWELL
BEUTYCLUB
They bait you to try their sample ($0.99) and then send you additional samples charging your card for $92.37 and $87.62 twice within a period of 2 weeks. If you try to call them you will be on the phone for hours waiting to speak to someone and when you do they are very arrogant and will not discuss with you any refund or re-imbursements. It took me the longest to just get get them to cancell. The sample product does not work and is nothing more than bait to get your card in order to keep charging. These people are discusting unethical, crooks and down low scum bags.

After months of uncertainity.. I received a refund from Dentech Whitening and DazzleWhite cancelled me without consequence. I had to go thru the Pennsylvania Attorney's General's office to have it done. Both companies tried to make me out to be the villian and that they were completely innocent and honest... DazzleWhite cancelled my account outright without any back charges. Dentech Whitening refunded $88.97 & Health Well??? (Wellness) I believe this is their Axis Wellness (nonfunctional/nonexistant healthy living fraud website) credited me $9.99 so I got my money back but I had to go the legal route to accomplish it! Funny, seems the only way to get their attention is to get the law after them!.. BTW it took a couple months. Luckly for me my BANK recommended that I cancel my debit card to prevent further abuse from these crooks. I did so and don't regret it... They sent me another one immediatly. From what I'm reading... many banks are not so inclined to do so! Also ... I had registered complaints with the Alberta Canada BBB, and their territory's governmental comerce department: Competition Bureau / Bureau de la concurrence [compbureau@cb-bc.gc.ca] since the headquarters is supposed to be in Alberta, Canada. They were all familiar with these scammers and have had many complaints about them. I also filed a complaint with: Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) FBI.
On another matter, I did a Search on "Google Earth" on 263 Olive Avenue #130, Burbank, CA which is "Dentech Whitening" mailing address... Google's Street view shows exactly what the address is: a "Rent-a-mailbox" in a strip mall! (Right down the street from the "Nickleodion" headquarters.) I intend to post this on the Dentech website also.

I was scammed by this one earlier this year. I did their free trial period and noticed no different results than if I just kept brushing my teeth with my current whitening toothpaste. Applicator was faulty and the product did not work! I called to return the product and cancel the subscription-after 14 days your card is automatically billed for the whole price of the pen (around 90) and you buy a new one every month or so if I remember correctly. When I called the first day and told them my name and information they told me their system was down, so they could not cancel anything. I called later and it was still down. I called the next day and they put me on "hold" (hung up on me) after asking for my information. Finally about two days prior to the complete billing date they told me I could cancel, however I would need to send the pen back before the date. I had to spend $20 on over-night, certified, shipping just to make sure they did not try to say they never got the pen. Horrible product, even worse customer service. I wish I would have seen reviews like this before getting scammed.

I found it was a scam just after I gave me credit card information online.
Then I called the number linked from website which I forget now, the lady checked their system and insisted there is no my registered information.
I called my credict card and found there is around 2 dollors in pending, I thought the lady on the phone might lie. To make sure they won't stolen money from my account, I call the credit card and cancelled my card and ask a new card.

My question is, today I found I got their sample, but they didn't charge me since I have my card cancelled. Anyone one knows what they gonna do?

Yup...count me in among the ones scammed. I got a trial for $1.97 only to find a $79.28 unauthorized charge a month later on my bill for which I received absolutely nothing. I canceled my "subscription" no later than 5 minutes after placing the trial order but that did not help. I disputed the charge with the bank (CITIBANK...stay away from them) and lost. Basically they did not believe my story.

I was scammed too...Thanksgiving weekend 2009. Even though I cancelled in time, they still charged my debit card the $89. I called and demanded a refund, which they said they would issue if I returned the product, unused and in its original state. Fortunately, I always had a funny feeling about this product so I never even opened the package when I received it. However, it is unfortunate that I ignored my instincts and signed up for the trial in the first place! Since the package had not been opened, I marked it "return to sender" and took it to the post office. Well, the company claimed they never received it and since I didn't purchase tracking or delivery confirmation, there wasn't a darn thing I could do about it! They claimed they have warehouses all over the world and that the package could have gone anywhere. I was absolutely livid!!! However, I am fortunate that they did not continue billing me. I told them I have privacy protection through my bank and I would alert the bank to deny any future charges from them. I should have researched this company before falling for their scam, and I'm happy to discover that this (and other similar) sites exist that help make consumers aware of greedy, amoral scams artists like this one. Keep up the good work everyone! Together we call help bring down these criminals!

I wish I'd read all the responses on this site before I signed up for the "free trial". I've disputed 3 items charged to my cc (2 for tooth whitening products and 1 membership to an online fitness club) but I have the feeling I'll still have to pay for them. And you can't close your cc account until disputes are finalized so I can't avoid paying the scammers that way. The only consolation I have is that I'm not alone in this tooth whitening scam.

I too got trapped with Dazle Smile, lost close to USD 250. I received a tiny tube and the very next day received a call from their customer service. I told them to cancel it as I am not interested with the product. They kept charinging me 86.88 USD every month. Recently I noticed another company Elite Pack was takiing 24.44 USD every month from my credit card. I contacted them and they are saying that I have entered a contract with Dazle smile and it automatically register me for their product too. I need to cancel the product - I was not even aware of it. They are telling about some contract I acknowledge through internet - asked them for a copy and they do not have it. I am a bit confused now. Those CHEATERS have eaten my money !!!!

I, too, got scammed. It really bothers me that this company has not been shut down with all the complaints they receive. I canceled my credit card after getting billed for an online workout program $24.86. My credit card company actually caught the second charge and called me, and denied the charge! Lucky me, however one charge made it through. I called the number on the cc bill, and the man said that the charge came through dazzlewhite - and that I must read the terms and conditions on their website. He canceled the online workout program. I then received an email from the work out program acknowledging the cancellation, tried to contact them - no such company. An ONLINE workout program!! Too funny!! I did go back to read the terms and conditions, found nothing related to any additional charges for other companies anywhere. This company will be shut down, and jail time for those involved!!!! Guaranteed.

THAT IS FRAUD......complete FRAUD.

If I could I would rate this product a ZERO.
I also was scammed by this company. By the way, the company Ultra White, which i believe is also associated with this whole deal was shown in 20/20 as being a company that frauds people. In the show it mentioned it is owned by a guy named Jessie Wills. The report also mentioned his office is in Canada. He is being sued by Oprah because they have falsely placed her as an endorser of one of his companies. He says he doesn't own any of the companies. Who knows, maybe Jessie Wills is another person being scammed.
If it is him, the scam this guy runs is very complex because he has many different companies going on at the same time, (apparently not all teeth whitening products). He has call centers in (from what I have been able to figure out) Colorado and Florida. And he sells in many different countries. He also changes the name of the company very often. Some of the names that I have found associated with this are:
Dazzle white
Dazzle smile
Dazzle Smile pro
Clean Whites
Premium White
Premium white pro
Purley White
White Smile
Idol White
Smile Bright
The company who billed me was UltraFreshwell

After getting the 86.93 charge for the "Free Trial" I called them but would not refund my money back because of their return policy. I signed up for Premium White pro and they sent me a Dazzle smile product. I had no idea Dazzle smile and Ultra white where the same thing and when they sent the product they did not have any return policy on any of the paperwork the would indicate they were the same company. I had no idea what to do with the product so I just let time pass. Then I saw the charge of $86.93 and called the number they gave my bank (which was a number out of service). I looked more carefully at the paper work and discovered a number in some of the fliers. I called to cancel. But they would not refund my money because the 30 day trial period passed. They also told me that even if I used the product you have to send what you have left before the 30 days are over to avoid charges. So you have to wonder what they do with all the already used product they get returned to them. I am so glad I didn't put this stuff in my mouth.
I actually went to the FTC website and read somewhere in it that according to most states laws the return policy for a product has to be prominently displayed. I told the customer service agent that putting it in the terms and conditions on the website is NOT prominently displaying the refund policy. You have to be a detective to figure out their return policy. Also, I signed up for Ultra White pro NOT Dazzle Smile so I also told them they are doing false advertising. I eventually blocked the card and I presented a fraud claim to my bank. We will see if they refund me the money.

AUD$200 later and 2 months later, I realise it is a scam after checking my credit card statement. As I have never ordered anything from Beauty Club, Vibrant Beauty or Smile Bright. I called my CC company to cancel my card (thankfully I only have a $400 limit on it) and they told me to send/fax a Customer Transaction Dispute Form available in their website (ANZ Bank in Australia) and ensure that I return the product I received in the mail if any. It was only meant to be $2.99 for shipping for Free Trial. I didn't even try to open it as it looks dodgy and who knows what's in their product. I need to ensure I have evidence that I have returned the product to be able to be successful with my dispute.

Hopefully it will all work out. Suppossedly, it can take up to 3 months for the dispute to be resolved *sigh*...
