Denta White (Scam)

Well I hear you all. The one good reply was probably a fake too. I fell for the article about the woman who whitened her teath with using trial packages. I got Dentawhite like shown on the first page, smile whites pro and clean whites. The smile whites, clean whites are the same company. I think they are the same as others I have heard on here with the14 day trial. I called the denta white because I have dental issues and was afraid to use it. They said they would put my account on hold even though I just wanted to cancel it. I called smile whites and clean brites and cancelled easily enough but couldn't seem to do it online. At any rate, I got the $92.37 charge, got the product a day after the trial period ended. I called my bank. They told me to call and get a cancellation number and started a claim for me. After my cancellation of the other two companies and reading this site, I called my bank again. The gal I talked to seemed to recall she had cancelled other transactions regarding this company. She not only did a stop payment on all the names I gave her, she cancelled my bank card and reissued a new one which I will get in about 7-10 days. All the companies want the unused or unopened product back even though you paid for it. There is nothing risk free about this. I am thinking I might not get my money back but they sure as hell won't be getting any more out of me. My husband is going to report this to the local radio news stations and we are forwarding this to the BBB and attorney general. But they will probably go out of business and start up a new scam company. They can't even keep their products straight.

I noticed that there are SOOOOOOO many bad reviews that Denta White has after reading just a few of the comments. I COMPLETELY AGREE HOW BAD THIS PRODUCT IS AND HOW MUCH THEY SCAM PEOPLE. I should have read all these reviews before purchasing this product. Like all of you I was not clearly informed with how much they were really going to charge me. It said exacly this on the website.... "Get Free Denta White Avail of a free trial of Denta White by simply sign up at the Denta White website. Interested individuals just need to pay for a shipping and handling fee $3.76 to receive their free sample." How can they say this and charge me $92.37??? I am so surprised that these people that are scamming us are not already out of business!!!! They are VERY BAD PEOPLE!!!! THEY HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO RESPECT FOR THEIR CUSTOMERS!!!! IF THEY DID THEN THEY WOULD HAVE TAKEN THIS PRODUCT BACK FROM ME WHEN I SPOKE TO CUSTOMER SERVICE AFTER TELLING THEM THAT WHILE USING THIS, MY GUMS BURNED AND WERE RED. THEY WOULD HAVE TAKEN THIS $92.37 OFF MY CREDIT CARD QUICKLY AND APOLOGIZED FOR THEIR INCONVENIENCE!!!! Denta White is A TERRIBLE PRODUCT WITH REALLY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE... IF ANYBODY GOES THROUGH THIS DO NOT PAY THEM!!! JUST REFUSE AND GET THEM IN TROUBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!! G-D KNOWS EXACTLY WHAT THEY ARE DOING AND HE WILL EVENTUALLY MAKE THEM PAY FOR ALL THE INNOCENT PEOPLE WHO HAD TO GO THROUGH THIS!!!!!!!!!

I agree with almost everything written here already, but will share my story. I saw an article online for the Denta White and Alta White products with the offer of a free trial and just pay for shipping...there was a blog attached of supposed customers who raved about the products. So I ws stupid and took the bait - that is just what it is - and ordered online with my credit card. I did read much of the online print, but The article was not an article but an ad. Later when I found out I had been scammed I read the fine print and it is very very small and grey stating that the woman was ficticous and just a representation of a customer...well I got the products and did not try them right away...then soon I got my credit card bill and saw the 2 big charges which freaked me out. I immediately called my bank and then the 2 companies (which I found out were owned by the same scam artist who is under investigation by the US gov). I called within 10 days and they claimed that I had to respond online and I could not call to quite the service. So when I got to a computer a couple days later I found I could not quit (no option) so I called them back and they said I did not call in time! So I went to my bank and canceled my card and then filled out dispute paperwork including the online scam reviews. I also sent the denta white back totally unopened and saved the postal receipt. Now my bank says they (Denta White) is disputing my return saying that the "plastic seal was broken". Are you kidding me?! Ha! I would laugh if not so angry...they are so desperate to keep this illegal money they will go to any length to lie, cheat and steal. So I hope the government will shut this operation down and this guy will go to jail where he belongs. Of course I will write a letter to my bank stating that I sent the product back completely unopened - guess I should have taken a photo of it before wrapping for shipment! If you have been scammed by them write letters and fight back. They do not deserve a penny of your money...

this is the bigest scam ever i wish i saw this site b4 i payed for it i just used it and it burned and bleached my gums and i only was uesing it for a bout 3 mins when i started feeling and awfull buring feeling i ran to the batheroom and took it out my gums r bleeding and bright white this is bull shit

I wish I had seen this site first. I had ordered the product the night of the 14th after seeing this wonderful ad about a teacher on a limited budget who tried this product and another product from a different company ( I was able to cancel that membership within 14 days) and whitened her teeth for just the cost of shipping of $.99 for each product. Thought I'd give it a try. Went to the website, read the information carefully and ordered the product. It came 4 days later, never even had a chance to try it. When I received the package, there was no billing invoice, contact information, phone number (apparently there is one in the directions, which I didn't even have time to look at) or information stating that this is a 10 day NOT 14 day "free" trial and it needs to cancelled within 10 days from ordering the product and not when it was received. Checked my bank account on the 26th to see that I had been charged $92.37 from some company called Greentea, SURPISE. Went to the Dentawhite site after doing some reasonable deductions to cancel the membership on the 26th and immediately tried to contact the phone number listed with the debit on my account. Off course, they were not available until the 28th (Monday). Spoke with a customer service representative and stated that I had cancelled the membership, apparently 2 days too late and wanted my money back in my account ASAP. He stated that he could not do so until they received the unused sample back, so much for free! This is unethical business practice and I will be reporting them to the BBB. I am just hoping that others see this site before falling for the same scam.

talking with them on the phone is no help what so ever, constantly contradicting themselves and other employees, numerous numbers for the same center, numbers they say to call dont exsist, unable to talk to a supervisor etc etc.

I'm a sucker ,i ordered it the 14th and did not recieve it till the 2nd called to cancel and i said i wanted to talk to the supervisor and said you guys got a real good scam going here well he refunded only $40. these bastards should be shot!!!

Well when P.T. Barnum wrote "there is a sucker born every minute" he wasn't wrong. I am not a naive or gullable person, however I apparantly fell for this scam. Just so you all understand the "free tail" is 10 days not 14. It begins on your order date not the day you recieve it. So, when you order this product and recieve it 5 days later you are allowed to LOOK AT THE BOX. Thats right, opening the box automatically obligates you to pay the entire purchase price.(approx. $100.00 american) So, there is nothing RISK FREE about it. Even if your teeth could stand some whitening, spend your money on a credable professional, not these scum sucking scam artists. The product burned my gums to the point of them turning white for 2-4 hours after use. Hopefully these jerkoffs will reap what they have sewn and die slow painful deaths that they can not afford. DONT USE THIS PRODUCT.

Ditto...they got me too...their combined theft was almost $200.00, and the nightmare goes on. I hope the people that raised this trash are rolling over in their graves , or throwing up with disgust. The shameless trash in their customer rip off dept should get a clue. Is this really the only job you are qualified for? Stealing from unsuspecting honest people....I pity you..worthless...worthless..waste!

There was no letter of notice in the package that I recieved stating that I had 10 days to cancel and nothing posted in the fine print. I took time to read the page before entering my information and so such info was made available to me. I had called in and said that I was not interested in the product due to the fact that it burned my gums and the lady the I spoke to said that she would note my account. I asked for a confirmation number and the rep on the other end said that it was not necessary and my call was tracked by the number I was calling from. Here I am a month later with a $92.37 charge on my account. The company is stating that I gave them the OK when I signed up for the trial period. Once again, no notice of a cancellation was given, I will be contacting the BBB. PLEASE be AWARE that this is a scam. I'll stick with Rembrant like I have for so long and go back to the crest white strips.

I have not tried your product and probably never will because you sob's charged my credit card with a $92.37 charge with out my permission. You should be put in front of a firing squad for your deception.

I am amazed to see how many other people have had the same problems as I have with this company! O.K., obviously something needs to be done. I will check the Better Business Bureau to see if I can at the very least report this. If there is anyone else who has time to enter a comment here, check with the Better Business Bureau website and report these people! They are STEALING money! My situation is ridiculous - I sent the product back to them (right when I realialized it WAS NOT a free sample) and they actually still charged me $92. 37 & they THREW AWAY the product that was sent back (or so they say.) What a waste of time, money and energy.

Another victim here. Can't do anything about this at this point. I was even signed up for Health Tracker that cost 24.13, I don't even know what the F**k that is but it's another 24.13 for them. So here I go. Denta White charge of 92.37, Smile Bright 43.12 and Health Tracker 24.13. Thats 159.62 lesson that I learned. Oh and of course the bank account was over-drafted another 36.00.
If I had one of these SOB in front of me..... I am very pissed, I think more pissed at myself for even letting this happen.

This is one of the largest scams out there! Especially being around the holidays where people are tight with their money. I read the site that advertised the special carefully and did call in to cancel within 10 days. After seeing the hit on my credit card, I called and talked with a very rude customer service rep. She was not helpful and only made matters worse. She said there was no record of me ever calling in. She lost her patience with me and I did the same and hung up. I called back later and another woman offered me 2/3 of my money credited back. This did happen within 3 days. This is not worth the hastle and the agony of dealing with these bozos!!!! I am reporting to the BBB and think that something else needs to be done to prevent this from scaming others.

I read the fake testimony of a woman that she said she got her teeth whitened for .99 shipment fee only and went to the links and used the discount shipment fees highlighted in yellow and ordered both products that she had used, smile white pro and denta white, and then reseasched.
Dah, I read the comments of these guys and went back and checked the sites and agreements.
I cancelled the orders the next day and let my credit card company know that this was a scam.
I' ll get my yellows whitened by my dentist, probably cheaper and safer.

I just ordered Dentawhite and Smile Whites bc of an article that talked about trying them together. I feel like an idiot. I just did this moments ago and THEN decided to look into it farther. Tell me what I can do right now to stop the hassle before it starts! -- Dennis

How can you try anything within ten days, when you don't even recieve the product for three days? They refused to give out the official name of their company and the supervisors name. Such a scam, BEWARE

This is definitely a SCAM. The print is so small it's difficult to read. They count from the day you order. In that 10 days, you may not receive the product. Now you're out 92.37. Don't believe in these trials. They are all scams!! Don't give you credit card to anyone!!!

I ordered the Denta White, but unlike everyone else on I here, I took the time to read the offer details BEFORE I gave them all of my information (including my card #)! Therefore, I knew to cancel within 10 days and I ended up with a product (that does work really well) for only the cost of shipping! Don't be stupid. Read what you are agreeing to before you go and give some company all of your information!

They got me! I got the .99 cent trial and started using it, it started to burn my gums. I canceled to order and they told me it was 11 days since I placed the order (not since you got the product). They charged $92.00 to my credit card and will not discuss with you any solutions. They told me to send a letter to the legal department. They are terrible, and I will post as many reviews so others are not ripped off like I was! I wish I read these reviews before I get stung! I will be filing a claim with the BBB.

Very dishonest and misleading ads. Got stuck with $92 charge. Called and canceled "subscription" I never really agreed to. Called CC company with instructions to refuse all future charges from this company because I don't trust them. Also, totally worthless product.

These teeth whiteing products Denta White and Dazzle White are both nothing but a scam.I too was taken for a ride for $92.37.I cancled the order before the 14 day free trial period ended,and they still took the money out of my account.I'am going to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau or with my Attorney General's Office.Hopefully either one these can stop these companies from defrauding us hard working people.
