Denta White (Scam)

COMPLETELY RIDICULOUS. If you haven't gotten the idea by the number of complaints listed on this page, PLEASE heed my words. I agree that something should seriously be done...in addition to this one when initially signing up I signed up w/ Smile White Pro. I cancelled the membership within the 14 trial period, and attempted to do the same w/ this one--but it didn't show as having an acct after canceling the first. So in calling today to verify the cancellation and return the funds to my acct ($92.37) I found that it had to be done within 10 days and the product must NOT be opened...so how can you possibly partake in a 14 trial period w/ the option to return when it's charged in 10 days AND you can't have opened it? completely ludicrous, hopefully will be shut down in future. plan to follow up with a BBB complaint.

Every body please listen to me. This company is the worst cheat I have ever seen. They took $92.37 from my checking account the following day I received their sample product. Although they said they will only charge me $00.99 for promotional trial. We should unite and sue this company.

Well look here another person screwed by ordering denta white and premium white together. I got the call for ordering teeth whitening trays after I ordered their products. I told them NO, I do not want them. I want only what I ordered. Well now I just got my billing statement and I have a charge for 92. 37 from some smile2day company. What I total rip off! Don't fall for this bull. I will Not even use these product after this happened .who knows what else may happen. I already got screwed once that is enough!!!!

Please report this SCAM to your Attorney General! We can't stop it but they can.

Got the product AFTER the trial period and was charged $92.37. I never even got to try the product!!! I was informed that when you sign up it may take 10-14days to get the product - so NO it is not a free trial it is a very big purchase - I am reporting them to my credit card and writing to the company - DO NOT ORDER THIS PRODUCT!!!!!!

Complete fraud and scam. Signs you up for $90+ in monthly fees to receive product you are unaware will be sent. Signs you up for additional "services" with monthly fees. Will not refund as stated in terms and conditions. As an aside, the product itself is ineffective.

As of November 27, 2009 the scam still exists. I got a phone call from them shortly after ordering the scam product and they said then the phone call was being recorded. They in passing mentioned the charge for trays of $$$$ and I said under no circumstances were they to charge or ship. They did it anyways. This needs to be investigated by the Attorney Generals office.

I knew I was "had" after I placed the order and read fine print stating I would "conveniently" receive my monthly product for @$80 and $5.95 shipping - o boy, how nice of them to put this in fine print AFTER making the trial purchase. I wish I had googled the company before falling for the scam. Makes me want to pay them a visit . . . . NOT HAPPY AT ALL ! ! ! !
They need a class action suit by all of us. This is no way to operate a business nor are they legitimate in the least. How would we feel if someone took @85 dollars from your pocket or purse and kept on doing so eveary month and you could never stop them? This is what this company amounts to. Anybody want to go to FL ? I sure do.

Please, please If you are reading this, you have to believe because its a pattern. These companies are just after your money, i tried the product it is a waste of money i rather pay $92.00 to get it done at the dentist. Its a fraud and hope they choke on their own product. I dispute the matter because they claimed they had sent a second product and charged me for it, which i never got.

Denta Whites is a scam and a fraud. They advertise they will give you a "free" trial, but is actually a 10 days trial of a 30 days product. You are not suppose to used more than once a week, how can you know if it good. And it not arrived until after 10 days.
Then they will charge you 86.38 + shipping of 5.99.
When I read all the information in details some days latter, I cancel the product within the 10 days and read a message of the cancellation when through. Unfortunately, I did not save the email for the cancellation and some weeks before I get charge with the 92.37. I call and they said they never received my email. Now they will not give me a refund because the plastic bag that has the instructions is open. How can you read the instructions?
I did not used any of the product but still they will not refund any money.
And the charge was made from smilewhite, another company.
Don't by the product, you will be sorry!
Now I am reporting them to the BBB.

I was scammed by DentaWhite and Dazzle White back in September. I experienced the exact same things that everyone else has mentioned. At the time I didnt see ANY site making a complaint about the products. I made a complaint againt the company with the Utah Better Business Bureau. They helped me get my money back from those jerks. Please whatever you do, do not fall for that mom!! She is just there to lure you in. I never received anything until the ten days. Thats when they charged my account. I told them I hadnt even received a product to try!! Thats when I was told that the sample IS the actual product that they were charging me $92.37 for. So I have definitely learned my lesson after being duped by these two companies. The representatives at these companies are not help full and they are liars as well. This company MUST be shut down!!

Nothing but a money making scam!!!! Not as advertised on the internet regarding trial costs, etc. Don't do it.

Complete scam! They claim they are sending you a free trial, but how is it free if the only way you don't get charged for the membership you are automatically enrolled in (which is buried in the terms and conditions fine print) is for you to send the product back unused? I am ashamed to say that I didn't read the terms and conditions and was gullible enough to input my credit card number to cover the $1.95 shipping charge. Then $92.37 from DentaWhite and $87.62 from DazzleSmile get charged to your card ten days later. (And watch out for another ~$9 charge from Health Tracker through DentaWhite that can also be put on, though that one didn't happen to me.) Make sure you cancel the "memberships" as soon as possible before they charge you for another month. I sent back my unopened trials, but I don't know yet whether they will refund me the money. In the meantime, my credit card company (Bank of America) balked at the idea of a disputed charge the first time I called. But the second time I called I told them that I had officially cancelled since the first call. And I mentioned how I had talked to them on the phone the day after the order was placed and had told them that I did not want to be part of any kind of membership, though that first time I was not savvy enough to get a cancellation number or the names and employee numbers of the people I talked to. Such a shame that hours of my life and a lot of money have been wasted on the perpetrators of this scam. I would never resort to violence myself, but sooner or later some angry customer is going to hang these guys off a tree by their nuts, and to tell you the truth I won't be feeling any sympathy.

Yes, same song and dance. I saw the house wife thing and signed up for a $0.99 trial on Sept 4th 2009 and before I could get the product these crooks took $92.37 out of my account on Sept. 14, 2009. I called and they said it was a 10 day trial. I asked how can it be a trial if you can't even try the product. I immediately cancelled, got my confirmation number, and got the information to mail the product back to get my refund. I got tracking so I saw they received the product on Sept 22, 2009. Then I called and they said they were still processing it. On Oct. 1, 2009, I get a call about a survery of how I liked the product. Oh I can tell you that I gave them one hell of the a survery and asked when I was getting my money back. The lady informed me that they had just issued the refund that same day and it was take a few days. Well, 10 days passes and still no money. I called and spoke to customer service. They told me it takes 30 days to process through VISA. I expressed to them that it only takes 2 secs to take the money out yet you expect me to believe it takes 30 days to get a refund. I asked to speak to a supervisor and got a bunch of attitude and put on hold forever, I waited. Spoke to a Tony, who told me the same thing and that they could not push it through any faster. He said once the refund is made it is out of their hands. That is a load of crap, they accept credit cards, so I know damn well they have a merchant account with VISA and could look into it and yet again no help. Called a week later....no help same story. Well today is Oct. 30, 2009, I am not dealing with them anymore, so I called my bank and they spoke to VISA no credit was issued. So, I filed a dispute and my bank has given me a provisional credit to my account. THIS IS A SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i odered the 2products last week and just foundout it was a Scam! Lucky me! i called them and canceled the membership with the companies. But i still don't feel safe, gotta check my credit card tomorrow...

Just like everyone else I signed on for the free trial period, got it for 99c shipping. I got product Oct 25.09 and was charged same day for 92.37 . It says that free 10 day trial , well as you see I never got to try this product. I contacted the company who informed me that I had past that trial period lol, and that they would not refund me my money, I told them I would file a claim with my cridet card company, they then told me that they would refund only 52.47 I said okay and still filed claim to get full refund. Please dont get this product, now it works I must say in the two days I tried it I see difference . "However" to haveto pay even before i could test it for the ten day is not fair ... be careful about the charge ....

I too was was taken as a fool into thinking this too was a good thing, boy was I stupid. I was sucked in for over 160.00 but I was able to get my credit card company on the horn and get to the bottom of this matter. They said this will get settled and I'll get back every cent I was taken, this is great news. I'll be taking a much closer look the next time I order something like this again. The OTHER whitening scam companies, Dazzlewhite (90 day moneyback) and Vibrantwhitening, to be fair, did offer a workable refund... I got money back from both companies after extensive wrangling. DENTA WHITE on the other hand claims a 15 day moneyback. It doesn't take a math professor to figure out that 15 days is not enough time to evaluate the product OR even sent the product back immediately without opening it. DENTAWHITE's people were completely uncooperative on the phone and I curse them.

Another whitener SCAM! I unfortunately, fell for the housewife ad getting two "free" samples for postage only. The terms are not presented at the time of purchase, nor is there anything in the envelope with the product.
The same day I received the sample, I also received a $92.37 charge! My bank advises me to cancel the card and dispute the fee. I canceled the monthy shipments that I did not authorized to begin with and will go to the bank tomorrow. Only if I had researched it first....

I was scammed too, they got $184 dollars from me. It all started when I responded to a fake testimonial from Google, they get you to try two different products; DentaWhite and DazzleSmile for less than $5 to get your credit card and and that's it, you will be scammed. I called to get my money back and they said I was outside the return policy time limit. Is there anything we can do other than complaining in this message board?

I too was scammed. I learned a valuable life lesson. Neverrrrr order anything from Denta white. Refused to refund my money because the postmark was a day late. Customer rep told me it was okay. They now have my money and the returned product.
