BriteSmile Teeth Whitening System

I've been wanting to get this done but was horrified after reading some of these comments about pain and bad results.

I went ahead and got it done anyway actually today and my teeth are ABSOLUTELY gorgeus. IDK if im lucky but I feel no pain what so ever. Well actually my jaw is a bit soar from opening it for 2hrs straight but not like the pain described in some reviews for like 12hrs. I feel bad for those poor darlings.

Im so excited that Ive stupidly decided not to eat for 2 days in order to maintain my beautiful results!!! Pray for me to have the strength to refuse food;)

Ok so i just got mine done a couple of hours ago. ANd holy shit! I am like dieing here! Its not even funny. My teeth are also not as white as i expected, and its not giving an even shade of white. Im regretting doing this, seriously. When i talk, im in pain. When i dont, i still AM in pain. Sometimes it feels like there little knives stabbing you inside the teeth. It is hurting reaaaaaaaaaaaaal bad. I wished i had researched on this. With the pain im havng, i think im going to have to pull an all-nighter. Very disappointed, i must say.

I had BriteSmile done yesterday morning and it 3 20 minute sessions with an optional 4th 20 minute session. I opted not to do the 4th because I just had enough of sitting there with my mouth propped open. My teeth weren't that yellow to begin with. Trays were not getting my teeth as white as they used to so I decided to try this. My teeth are super white but up close they are uneven colored. About 3 or 4 hours after the procedure I was in so much pain I wanted to throw up. I called the dentist and he had to call me in a prescription. I slept all afternoon and evening and woke up this morning feeling much better. I guess I will have to call him again about this uneven coloring...

Just had my teeth done and I really wish I had researched more before I went in. The pain is unbearable, I can't even talk because the air hurts too much. My teeth are whiter but not even close to what I expected. The only good thing that came out of this is my boyfriend getting an evening of quiet out of me for once!

So glad to read that others were dissapointed. I feel like I just got majorly ripped off of $350. Dentist tried to tell me how "gorgeous" my teeth looked after the procedure. 2 days later and my teeth are back to the original color or maybe they even look gray"ish" now. The pain only lasts for like 12 hours - but you do get these shooting zingers that first day. Would never recommend Brite Smile. People that have good results must work for the company!

I had brightsmile procedure done today. I must say I am a little dissapointed. I was expecting my teeth to be white. I was certainly not worth 550 bucks.

I have whitened my teeth for several years usually using the bleach and trays from my dentist. I decided to try BriteSmile because I am getting married soon and figured I would splurge hoping it would work even better than these other methods. After the procedure, my teeth hardly looked any whiter and the dentist told me it was because my teeth were already really white and that they could not get much whiter. I knew my teeth had been whiter in the past though so I waited a few months and bought some crest white strips. My teeth are tons whiter now so that dentist was completely wrong that they were as white as they could be. I feel that I wasted my money on BriteSmile and I would never consider using this whitening procedure again!

This prioduct is not worth the money. Teeth do not whiten more than a shade or 2. The lasting efect is about 3 months. They won't guarantee their product unless you buy their other products, such as mouthwash and toothpaste. Don't do it!

I burnt my gums so bad that I had trouble eating and brushing my teeth for 2 days.

I feel compelled to write since I read all these horrible reviews and was scared to do it. It was easy as pie. I have sensitive teeth and I didnt feel a thing.

My teeth are whiter, but not as white as I hoped. However, it was easy and took an hour.

Do not use the Boston location. Newbery St location, Kmart attitude

I went to the Beverly Hills BriteSmile about 6 months ago and the results are still great. I went from very white teeth to 'unnaturally white' and people still comment on how nice my smile is.
The spa process was fun, comfortable, and easy.
I had a 'valentines day' special price - look for sales to save you hundreds! I think they had another sale in December.
No pain after, unlike my experience with whitening strips.
I did my research and decided for a professional process that BriteSmile was best - the burning of gums,lips, and tongue with zoom scared me! The spa experience of BriteSmile attracted me. So i went with BriteSmile and am so happy.

I had BriteSmile done 2 years ago it was my present to myself for having braces then plates for 4 years, it was very painfull worse than the worst tooth ache i've ever had, they said you might have a few zingers but my god i nearlt shot through the roof!! Prior to that my dentist had said at every 6 monthly check that my teeth were really clean and healty no holes or anything and i had never had any sensitivity, after this my teeth are sensitive to hot and cold and i have cracks in my molars despite my really good oral hygiene. My teeth are amazingly white but i don't think it was worth it for the pain and dental bills to fix the damadge.

No pain; no discomfort; It has been 3 years and I am going back. For a long time people were asking me if the teeth were real because they were so white. I also got an offer for less. Definitely recommend it. I have tried strips and didn't work for me. bleaching with trays worked better than strips but I have been told that the high concentration of hidrogen Peroxide will damage the enamel; besides I have sensitivity in my teeth and gums for tray bleaching.

I had been complaining to my mother that my teeth just didn't seem as white as they used to be, she told me that one of her friends had recently tried BriteSmile and loved it and that I should try it too if I was feeling so self conscience about my teeth. So I decided to give it a try, it wasn't as expensive as I thought it would be, and for the results I think I'd pay more! The staff was super sweet and helpful I felt right at home. I actually fell asleep during the procedure, I was that relaxed! Before I knew it I was strutting home with a new BRITE SMILE!

Brite Smile is the worst! I went to both SOHO and MIDTOWN (Manhattan). I went in for veneers, but was told on the phone I would get a discount for prepaying before I came in. When ( months later) I was finally told that their veneers would not be right for my teeth, AND WOULD BREAK, they refused to give my money back that they had me pay upfront to get the "discount."

Their price structure is completely random, and varies greatly depending on the day.

Three times I was sent to the wrong Manhattan office (either to Midtown or Soho when I should have been sent to the other). I also noticed conditions were less than sanitary, as the previous poster noted. It appeared that non-medically trained front desk sales employees were helping perform treatments on other clients, while not wearing scrubs, medical aprons, or latex gloves.

They store confidential patient records on a LAPTOP. THAT IS NOT ALWAYS ONSITE. Where do they take this thing!?

They are always pushing sales. More products, more treatments, more money! Is that who you want doing your dentistry??

AVOID, AVOID, AVOID! Get treated by your normal dentist, not these frauds.

I’ve been an avid tray and strips user for years and just wasn’t getting the results I wanted. At first, it was great, but after about a month my teeth were looking dull and the sensitivity for the first week just wasn’t worth it. At the suggestion of a co-working, (whose teeth are super white and stunning!), I tried BriteSmile. The procedure was quick and easy, I went to the mid-town location on my lunch break. By the end of work that day, my teeth were noticeably whiter. But would it last? YES! It’s been almost 5 months and my teeth look as white as they did the day I left the office. I’m so happy I can stop wasting money on all those trays and pastes that did nothing. Definitely try out BriteSmile if you haven’t already, I promise you you’ll be happy with the results!

I had my teeth whitened whilst on holiday in Indonesia and the dentist was great.

I suffered tooth sensitivity during the 2nd and 3rd 20 minute session and it was very uncomfortable.

I cannot describe the pain I felt afterwards, my teeth were so sensitive that I couldn't keep my mouth open or shut because it would be sensitive either way. I took 6 painkillers in the space of 3 hours becuase of the pain and had to drink clear drinks through a straw! I definitely wouldn't recommend doing something like this whilst on holiday - it's not worth the pain!

The colour is okay, although my partner didn't notice any difference at all. I suppose I am a little bit disappointed that they aren't lighter. I did receive a tooth paste from them but no before or after picture.

A month on and my teeth have started being really sensitive again which I'm finding really uncomfortable because I'm struggling to fall asleep at night because of it.

Don't know what to do about the pain, have been using a sensitive toothpaste but doesn't make any difference. Could whitening toothpaste be causing the problem?

I was getting married in less than a month, and I knew that my not so white teeth would totally clash with my bright, white gown. I needed a quick solution, so I looked online to see what options I had. BriteSmile seemed like the best one for me, so I decided to go for it. Making an appointment was hassle free and the location in Beverley Hills was so convenient. The service there was so great, they answered my questions, knew what they were talking about and had me feeling relaxed for the first time since I got engaged. After the short procedure I couldn’t believe my eyes, my teeth and smile were the brightest I had seen them in years! The effects lasted long after the wedding and when I look back at my wedding pictures, I can’t tell what was more beautiful-the dress or my smile!

I went to BriteSmile on Prince Street in Manhattan for teeth whitening and the results are amazing, much whiter teeth and I'm very happy! The staff were very friendly, gave me in-depth details on the procedure, and the value was certainly worth it. The procedure itself wasn't the most comfortable (beauty never usually is!), but I would certainly recommend it as the results were as promised. I tried everything else, from Crest strips to trays, and this is the best results so far! Even afer 6 months, and I'm a coffee drinker, my teeth are still white.

Brite Smile is terrible. Don't waste your money - Crest strips work much better. I did Brite Smile a year ago, and the results were so poor and did not last long at all. Tries Crest white strips, a fraction of the price compared to Brite Smile, and the results were so much better.

Oh my! Just had it done at lunchtime. Cannot believe how much whiter my teeth are. But good golly do they hurt! This pain is terrible. Didn't enjoy the procedure either, though I think it will end up being worth it.

Definitely saw improvement, but dont expect for your teeth to be as white as any model or actress. What do they use anyway? Also, definitely wait for the deals. I got 2 people for $385.

Whooooooaaa!!! I had my teeth done with BriteSmile just about 3 hours ago. I'm about to go to bed and I'm in so much pain!!!!! My teeth feel raw, no enamel!!! My wife says the procedure worked great. My teeth are white, I guess. But I don't know if its worth it - the pain is crazy bad!

Did Britesmile at my dentist. Procedure all and all took about 2 hours because of the prep work. It was pretty uncomfortable, but I kept with it thinking the results would be great, which they were for a day. I was so happy about my teeth for within two days they were completely back to normal, I couldnt believe it. 360 bucks for nothing. I am sure it works for some people, but not me. Im going to try the white strips and see if that works better.
