Dazzle Smile Review

The DazzleSmile Teeth Whitener is a scam. This product is exactly like its sister product, Dazzle White. A lot of consumers are being dupped by this one right now! You will see this product advertised on the internet through fake testimonials, review sites, and blogs.

Our Observations

  • Dazzle Smile uses fake testimonial blogs to dupe consumers.
  • Dazzle Smile does not work and is over priced for a brush-on teeth whitener.
  • Dazzle Smile falsely claims to be the "#1 selling tooth whitener."
  • Their website uses a fake "qualification system." You will always "qualify" for the product.
  • The livechat respresentative is not a real person. It is programmed to give automated replies.
  • The Dazzle Smile checkout page displays a fake "dentist preferred" seal and has false "mcafee secure" and "truste" certification images.
  • Dazzle Smile will also charge consumers for non teeth whitneing products/programs (read their terms and conditions).

I ordered this supposedly great product for my room-mate, when I had seen it wasn't gonna be free with shipping and handling.I immediately canceled it, soon after seeing what other charges were going to be applied. Well well they still sent the product to me anyway and yep you guessed it charged my bank account for over 80.00 I called again. Of Course only to find out to bad so sad.... I'm a sucker..... SO okay no more charges right.... And remind you this was back in October of 09... Well okay so I dont write down when I use my debit card, we all know in our heads when we use our money and what no to use..... OMGGGG well surprise and again shame on me.... this company has a third party of magazines... that used my info and charged my bank account in January so far for This Old House $20.00 HandyMan $24.00 Rachel Ray $26.00 yep you guessed it overdrawn.....and of course let me remind you overdraft charge 32.00 well by the time my little stuff went through with this stuff I owed my bank 467.00...............I called the number posted on my bank statement I was fortunate to have been credit back so far $26.00 and $20.00 and when you call you don't get alive person never...... and of course this didn't help with the 32.00 each over draft charge...... I think it should not be allowed to let third party do this... so I thought it was fixed .... Geese here we go again a company called Fits club online started charging me $24.82 every two weeks also in Jan......this company cancel the membership and basically told me to go f**k myself on the charges and will not credit my account back..... STATES ATTORNEY HERE I COME Geeeee I canceled my debit card and they still tried to charge my bank....I'm so glad I did cancel the card............ but everyone please I'm begging you.... BESIDES THIS PRODUCT NOT WORKING AS MANY HAVE SAID .... THEY SEND IT TO YOU ANYWAY AND ALLOW THIRD PARTY TO GET YOU INFORMATION.................... NEVER NEVER USE THIS COMPANY.......THEY WILL SCAM YOU RIGHT OUT OF YOUR MONEY

THIS IS A SCAM. I am so so so SOO sorry I was STUPID enough to fall for it, but I only hope that someone else will think to check up on his company FIRST bfore releasing their credit card info.
I am STILL being billed for this crap, as well as the health club membership even though I cancelled the card.
I just got off the phone with the company and they claim they don't have my information listed with them, so they can't do anything about it. WELL IF THEY DON'T have the information, why am I still being billed every month????
It is a hassle to have to got the credit card company and request the forms to dispute this crap. So far they have charged over $400 in total over the last 6 months, and I am STILL fighting this!!!!
I repeat THIS IS A SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I feel sorry for anyone else who falls for this, and I have learned my lesson to NEVER EVER trust things like this again.

Hi, I just thought I would let you all know that I too got scammed by this company ‘dazzle smile’ in November 09 and have been batteling with the Better Business Bureau to get a refund. I thought this would give the rest of you a glimmer of hope. I have had a REFUND from Dazzle smile!! Dazzle smile took the shipping and handling fee out of my bank and then took the $87.62 and then because i had aparently not ‘opted out’ of other companies getting my card details, ‘elitepack’ took more money for some website ‘login’. I have had all this money back other than the origional $11.90 shipping and handling fee. It has taken a while but I am glad that they do not have my money anymore. If anyone would like me to help them I am more than happy to explain what I did just write back to me. good luck everyone, there is light at the end of the tunnel!!!!!!

all I can say that if you run into scam artists like these people before the 14days are nearly there you need to report creditcard stolen/lost and your credit card company will cancel card and account and issue U a whole new credit card with new account number b/c your credit card# is the same as your acct.# so then you don't have to worry about the extra fraud charges and for bank account charges you will have to close account completely out tell them that spouse have access to your bank acct. and you want to close that one and open up a new one, for this reason is that you don't just want to get another debit/visa card with a new number b/c your account # is diff. from your card # with dealing with your personal bank account. This is the best way to avoid scandalist charges, hope this help ya guys out.

I fell for the scam too. They charges over $200.00 on my credit card using: DAZZLEWHITE, SMILE BRIGHT, WHITETEETH, & WORLDFIT. I cancelled my credit card & contacted the Federal Trade Commission, Consumer Reports, US Better Business Bureau, US Attorney General, and FOXNEWS-->where I saw the ad. I've read other postings this operation is working outside the U.S.A. If you haven't already done so cancel your credit card & contact the above agencies - all complaints can be done via the internet. The local & national MEDIA is too concerned with Tiger Woods & the Health Care Plan to warn the public about 'this' razzle dazzle. I've read other posts that have attempted to contact DAZZLESMILE's WEBSITE & then got a virus on their computer. BEWARE Consumers

Dazzle Smile signs you up or allows your credit card information to be used by other companies when you order from them. This is what they did with me. They also billed my card after I cancelled with them and refused to refund my money! The other company that billed my card was "affiliated" with them but "not part of them," therefore when you cancel with them these others freely bill your card and then say you did not cancel with that company. I made no agreement and received no product or service from the other company and yet they also refused to refund the money they illegally charged to my card. Yes, I have contacted my bank, but like these things go, this crap takes time and energy to straighten out. Dazzle Smile said it was in their terms and conditions which is a lie. I read the terms and conditions prior to ordering AND I printed them out! They are liars and thieves and their product does not deliver what is advertised. The other company, Elitepack, is plain and simple thieves. They charged to my card without authorization and didn't even bother to deliver anything for it! What a scam! They should be ashamed of themselves! Of course if they had a conscience they wouldn’t do this crap in the first place!

Look at all of us that have been scamed. Has anyone gotten any money back? I havn't. It cost $7.00 to send the crap back. I've gotten 3 different products to try for "free" It's like they pass your credit card number around.

What can we do. How about a class action law suit?

I order this product under the name "Smile Whites Pro" anyhow.. I later realized what I had done was stupid. Anyhow, I called my credit card provider and that card canceled due to "faud". I called the next morning to the company and calmly told the lady "Hello I ordered your product yesterday mid-afternoon soon only to realize it was a "scam" I have already CANCELLED my card so further AUTHORIZATION will no longer be possible" She said something that I can't quite remember any how I told her I did not want her products, I do not want the skin derma-crap.. then she assured me I would not be charged--obviously, I would still get the shit in the mail as a courtesy. anyhow, I got a cancellation confirmation and another email that said "thank you for returning your bright smile.. blah blah blah"..

I had read in other blogs if you threaten legal suit they will remove your name.. I was prepared to do so but apparently canceling your credit card will do it. So for all others out there.. CANCEL YOUR CARD or get in touch with your card issuer..

They do have the terms stated clearly.. I did read them. I usually do if I don 't trust something. Anyways.. just call at "opening" and inform them you canceled your card. Of course this is going to be a hassle for me but it is well worth the effort because I get to keep my money.

TOTAL SCAM!! RIP OFF!! ORDERED IT AND AN IMMEDIATE CHARGE FOR OVER $40 SHOWED ON MY ACCT. CALLED TO CANCEL AND AND TOLD THEM I DIDN'T WANT ANYTHING AT ALL AND TO LOSE MY CREDIT CARD NUMBER. THEY ASSURED ME I WOULD NOT BE CHARGED AGAIN. THEN THE SAMPLE CAME IN THE MAIL. I DIDN'T THINK I HAD TO CANCEL AGAIN, SINCE I ALREADY HAD SO I JUST KEPT IT. OF COURSE IT DOESN'T WORK, AND 1 MONTH LATER A CHARGE FOR $86.53 APPEARS ON MY ACCT. I CALL AND THEY CLAIM THAT I NEVER CANCELLED BEFORE AND THAT SINCE IT IS PASSED THE TRIAL PERIOD I CANNOT RETURN THE "FREE SAMPLE" AS IT WAS CALLED WHEN I ORDERED IT TO GET MY $BACK. SO NOW, I AM GOING TO MAIL IT BACK ANYWAY AND GO DOWN TO BANK OF AMERICA TO REQUEST A REVERSAL ON MY ACCOUNT BECAUSE I DIDN'T AUTHORIZE THIS TRANSACTION. I HAVE CANCELLED MY MEMBERSHIP WHICH I NEVER EVEN SUBSCRIBED FOR YET AGAIN AND I'M ASSUMING THEY ARE GOING TO TRY AND CHARGE MORE MONEY FROM MY ACCOUNT. SO, SEEMS I WILL HAVE TO WITHDRAW MY MONEY, PUT MY ACCT IN THE NEGATIVE, FILE A DISPUTE WITH THE BANK, AND CLOSE THE ACCT. I WILL HAVE TO WAIT FOR A NEW DEBIT CARD AND THEN CROSS MY FINGERS THAT THE BANK IS ABLE TO REVERSE THE TRANSACTION. ADVICE, PRINT OUT A WHOLE BUNCH OF THESE RIP OFF REPORTS AS WELL AS COMPLAINTS FILED WITH BBB AND TAKE IT ALL TO THE BANK AS PROOF THAT THIS COMPANY IS SCAMMING A BUNCH OF AMERICANS!! WISH ME LUCK!!!

Yes it is a Scam. Please be aware and never even try to order this product. It cost me 175.24$ for their crappy product. They charged me 87.62 for suppose to be their free sample and got another 87.62 from my account for the second one they sent me.I called them and said i didnt want it and so they said return it back and we'll give you the refund within 10 from the time we receive it but after 10 days i called the bank and ask if i got the money back the bank said no so i call these scam people back and they said its not refundable. It hurt so much because i worked so hard to earn that money and they just get it that easy.I really wish that they get what they deserve as soon as possible .

They scammed my daughter, she is still trying to do something after months. There are so many of these similar sites online, they all look like the same and probably from the same underlying company.
Where is our government, it bad enough they continue to rip off our elderly but now they are going after the younger generation. Our governments response...they are looking into it. Their so called investigations take years and nothing ever happens. Every once in a while they bust a company but in the mean time millions are bilked out of millions. This added millions of losses to the credit card companies and those costs are passed on to us.

We need to complain to the government and put pressure on our elected officials to put a stop to these obvious scams. Anyone can see they are scams within a few days why not our government agencies. They should be shut down immediately...

This must be stopped. Dazzle Smile are nothing but thieves and con merchants.
They trick you when you order their 'low price' sample and charge you a)excessive postage and b)on going amounts that you supposedly signed up to and agreed.
They also trick you into believing you are getting a one time deal and get you to leave a box ticked. You think that this is for getting the sample at a real good price but infact, by not unchecking the box you automatically agree to taking on another service or product, like the World Club Fitness program. Because you were tricked to not unchecking the box they will now say that you agreed to pay another amount, in my case $26 per month.
Then, when they send you the sample they charge you the postage seperately, being a small amount. This shows on your statement and you think that it's not so bad BUT what you don't know is that's just the postage. A week or so later you realise that they then debit you a much larger figure, say $80. Then, by the time you've realised it's gone past the 30 day trial and they refuse to credit you back the money even if you do send it back.
Whilst you're trying to get the credit from them they then debit you again a similar amount and you would not have even received the next item. When querying the next payment and no product they say 'Oh don't worry, it will be with you any day', 'If you're not happy with the products just send them back and once we've received them we will credit your account'. That is another lie. I sent them back, by recorded delivery and they still do not want to credit my account.
Then you find out you're being charged for the 'unchecked' box service, mine being some fictitious 'World Club Fitness Program', for which you have absolutely no knowledge and in my case never received any product, service, link to an on-line magazine or otherwise.
After kicking up a stink they promised to cancel the account with them and not debit any more from your credit card. You put down the phone and hope that all will be credited and nothing more debited. WRONG. A few days later you find that not only have they debited your credit card a 4th or 5th time using various pseudo names, they have also passed your details onto another 'affilliated' company who has debited your account for similar amounts.
When phoning this new company I am told that I must have ordered from both companies....for similar products?!? Do they really think you're that stupid. Well, the truth is they do....and unfortunately we are...because we were stupid enough to believe that we were dealing with an respectable, honest and reputable company.
The truth is they are not. They are nothing but cheapscates and rogues, acting deliberately to con people out of their hard earned money. And by using the internet to sell their very unworthy products, they play their tricks and gain your money by nothing short of fraudulent practices.
For any of you who have done what I did, do yourself a favour. report your credit cards lost or stolen and gain new ones with completely different numbers. Then report this company to your bank, credit card company, the police, a wonderful web site like this and anyone else you feel might help you, us to stop companies like this from using their immoral, fraudulent practices.
Oh, one more thing you can do to get your own back is to regularly phone their toll free number, say 10 or 20 times a day when you're sitting around enjoying a coffee or a glass of wine. It might be toll free to us, the caller but they still have to pay for those calls. If they have to pay a cent per call from one person, that's not a lot. If we can get a couple of million to call them 20 times a day we might make a dent in their ill gained proffits.
If any of you have any other ideas as to how we can get our own back on this/these companies, lets get together, share the ideas and DO IT!

Some one needs to delete the pro-forma repsonse from Gilbert below, dated Nov. 17. It's the identical bogus response by DazzleSmile currently being plastered all over the internet.

The FTC is investigating this scam and now the Senate is looking into it as well. See the following AP link:

Bye bye Dazzlesmile scammers. I hope you rot in prison.

Have also been scammed by both Dazzle Smile and Alta White. Stopped my card when they sent me an email saying they were going to deduct £80 from my account, yet they still managed to take money from my account 10 days after my card was stopped. Contacted my banks fraud dept and they told me these companies put all the further payments they intend to take from you as pending on the day that you sign up for the trial so therefore stopping your card has no effect!!! infact it was the fraud department that actually processed the payments after my card was stopped as they have to honour payments processed before you stop your card. Unknown to myself i had also been signed up to other companies that i have never heard of that are taking money out my account all over the place, £7 here, £30 there!!!! a grand total of over £200 so far. Managed to speak to someone and got a cancellation number but have been told to expect a further charge next week for another £40 as i didn't tell them in time!!!!! Awful labyrinth of confusion and feel sick that someone can just take money out my account for a really crap product!

DO NOT ORDER THIS PRODUCT!!!! IT IS A SCAM!!!!! My mom ordered this for me because they were advertising a FREE trial size & you just have to pay the $1.95 shipping. Well, then they send you 4 more tubes in the next week & charge you $75.00 per tube PLUS they also charge you for the so called "free trial" tube you already received. My mom called to get it straightened out & the only way it is FREE is if you send the tube back UNUSED!!! WHAT A SCAM!!! Who is going to send it back before they try it? This company should be ashamed of themselves & AOL should be ashamed for advertising these false products!! AOL is where I read the article about this so called "miracle" tooth whitening system in the first place. PLEASE BEWARE!!!
