Dazzle Smile Scam

I fell for the add for a free trial of Dazzle Smile - and then realized that if you keep the trial for $1.95, they will charge you $79 on your credit card! So you have to send the trial back unused and insure it so it can be tracked and call their number to cancel your membership. I called within 30 seconds of placing my trial order and they said they couldn't stop it from shipping! What a scam - buyer beware, read the fine print.

Re: Dazzle Smile Scam

I too was nearly scammed by Dazzle White.  I canceled it, am sending it back unopened.  Thanks for the tip about insuring it.

Re: Dazzle Smile Scam

I've been scammed too.  Please tell me that you read the terms and conditions under "billing" and cancelled the other entities that they threw in.  Yeah, two different companies that you have to cancel in a specific time or they will bill you.
I'm trying to notify as many people as I can to contact www.fraud.org.  and fill out a complaint form.  This is the National Consumers League that works along with the National Fraud information Center.  Once you fill out your complaint it is automatically sent by electronic means to local, state, and federal law enforcement.  They cannot take action on every indivdual complaint but they will look for patterns of fraud if numerous complaints are filed. Please take the time to fill out a complaint and spread the word.  Watch your bank account, they don't stop trying believe me! Thanks

This is consumer fraud.  Before I go any furthur I hope you looked at the term and conditions under a section "billing" because you joined two other entities with additional fees and cancellation times or you will be billed. I am trying to get as many people who are as pissed as I am to fill out a complaint at www.fraud.org.  This is the National Consumers League who work with the National Fraud Information Center.
When a complaint is received it automatically is sent by electronic means to local, state, and federal law enforcements. They look for a pattern of fraud so the more of us who complain they can compile a case.  It's a start, thanks

Re: Dazzle Smile Scam

BEWARE OF PROMO FOR DAZZLE WHITE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
I just went thru the whole process for ordering the promo. I entered the promo code and it dropped the S+H to 1.95. When I completed the transaction, a receipt came up with 4.95 on it. I called CS immediately to find out why. First they blamed me for entering the wrong promo. I had to be persistent in telling her I DID enter the right code and saw the price drop to 1.95. Of course, she said "this has never happened B4". I then tried to cancel the promo shipment and she told me it was impossible. It WOULD be shipped and I WOULD be charged 4.95 & I was enrolled in autoship, which I immediately cancelled, which she accepted. I then told her to go ahead and charge my card. I would just put a dispute in with my credit card. She put me on hold for about 5 minutes and came back and said she "found a way" to cancel the promo!! RIP OFF! I spent over 1 hour on the on a Sat.

Re: Dazzle Smile Scam

I don't mean to keep posting all this stuff, but, I cld CS even tho it was Sat. Spoke/w Margie and she said to disregard the confirmation call. Everything was cancelled.  15 mins later I got the same call confirming my order & 2 tell me it was on it's way. Seems when I cl CS to cancel, it reactivates the order. All I can do is wait. Don't let these companies BS U. U need to fight them HARD!!!

Re: Dazzle Smile Scam

I also leapt before I looked and ordered this product and tried the whole cancelling thing which as everybody has said (and I have experienced) is a total run around also, they "cancelled" my acct with them but I will have to send the product back to them "within a certain time period" unopened to be refunded which is what I expected, but I phoned back to find out what other companies I was "automatically " signed up for and there was only one on mine which was world fitness and I would have to phone them to cancel and ***BEWARE*** THEY ALSO HAVE THEIR OWN CHARGES !! they were going to charge me 24.98 for this health magazine package thingy........... so be sure to phone them also to cancel, the # is 1 866 407 3685, they did cancel my order automatically though and I will not be charged anything and don't have to worry about the run around of returning crap I no longer want...........unlike *DAZZLE SCAM*.

Re: Dazzle Smile Scam

I'm a non-reading sucker on this one too! I didn't read the fine print and fell for the "Mom" ad about this product and quickly placed my order. When they called to confirm, I tried to cancel, since I Googled it AFTER I ordered (Duhhh) and found out it was a total scam. The guy told me he was in the "confirmation" dept, and that I would need to contact someone in the "cancellation" dept. once I received my order. Thanks for the "customer NO-service"!

Like many of you, I called customer service to *try* to cancel, and even used the "Live Chat" feature on their website. I was on hold over the phone forever, and the Chat lady said that she couldn't cancel the order and that I would be getting billed $78 and change every month. NOT!

Luckily, I used a card that I don't keep much of a balance on. I was able to cancel that card before they could put any charges on it.

Folks, don't fall for this scam like many of us did!

Re: Dazzle Smile Scam

Hi Gang,

I have done a little research on this subject and quickly noticed something that should throw a red flag immediately. I found at least two sites that are using the same exact pictures of before and after teeth. One says it is Megan McLean from Pompano Beach, FL, the other says these teeth belong to Suzy Bradshaw from Santa Clara, CA.

BUSTED!!!!

Here are the links to the sites to check it out for yourself:

Pass this on to everyone you know, even in your emails. Lets call these people on the carpet!

Re: Dazzle Smile Scam

Go get a prepaid visa, run it down to cover just the promo cost, & order the product.   Then use the product, and cancel your subscription within the required time.

Re: Dazzle Smile Scam

I signed up for this offer, with the genius mother who had combined two whiteners.
I was charged for just the shipping. Then i googled the product after and found its probably a scam. Dunno why i didnt do it before i signed up for it.
Anyway, i read about all the problems people have had trying to stop the shipping, so i thought id just cancel my card instead, which is what i did and informed them of the scam.

Can anyone tell me if they are legally able to relieve me of any more of my money now my card details are invalid?

Do i need to sign for this shipment, if not cant i just say i didnt recieve it anyway?

I know I should, have read the small print but they know most people wont wade through all that crap and i guess thats how they haul you in.

Re: Dazzle Smile Scam

I also missed the fine print and tried to cancel by the live chat. Called  the number given to cancel and return my unused product, but after holding for awhile I got kicked off. I will try again later, but in the meantime I called my credit card company and reported my card lost and am having a new card reissued, so no if they try to charge my cc they will find it doesn't work.
I do not want to cheat them out of their product and am willing to return product that has not been used. If they were willing to let me try out the product first and see if it works, then I might be willing to order. But I am not willing to be manipulated and hoodwinked. If their product is so good they shouldn't have to use underhanded means to sell their product. They can hide behind their story that it is there on the website to see, but you have to hunt for it. I actually read the terms and conditions and didn't catch the part about still having to pay for the initial trial shipment (so much for a free trial!). I did catch the part about the Fitness club and did call immediately and was able to cancel that. They should be ashamed of themselves, but the spirit of greed has overtaken many in the business world and ethics and integrity are unfamiliar words to them. Their remarks on this website are meaningless and insincere.

Re: Dazzle Smile Scam

I too fell for this scam. I could not cancel, I also got charged £87 before I cancelled my card. I am also furious that they autosubscribe you for other products. The other company that they do the 'free trial' promotion with does not seem to exist. Except of course to steal your money by autosubscribing you things you have no interest in! In investigating this on the internet I have found they either change their company name or close and restart more companies. That should be a warning into how dodgy these companies are. These people should have there ill gotten gains taken from them and jailed!

Re: Dazzle Smile Scam

I can't believe these people!!  How do they live with themselves!
I ordered Beverly Hills Smile and Dazzle Smile using the "free" trial with the minimal shipping and handling.  When I ordered the Dazzle the website was having problems so parts of the page were blocked out… of course including the terms and conditions.  This is the first time I’ve ordered anything like this on-line and will definitely be the last.  I was charged several foreign transaction fees and a total of $200.  The charges include the initial shipping, the monthly charge for 2 products because I didn’t call either company within 14 days, and 2 charges for some BS beauty secrets and weight loss secrets.  I did happen to get to the Health Magazine within 40 days.

I called the bank and they were very aware of this and said there really wasn’t much that could be done for these charges because of the terms and conditions on the websites, however, he gave me the phone numbers for the companies and said to call them to cancel immediately.  He said anything they try to charge beyond today I can dispute.  I asked about just not paying them.  He said the companies were already paid by the bank so it wouldn’t be teaching them a lesson or anything.  I called the numbers and canceled everything.  Dazzle also sent a shipment for $87 on the 4th that I’ll have to return and request credit.

I wanted to be sure everybody has the correct phone numbers to call and cancel accounts.

Dazzle Smile – 866-948-5508
Beverly Hills Smile – 877-614-7225
Beauty Secrets and Weight (assoc with Beverly) – 888-727-1579
Health Magazine (assoc with Dazzle) – 866-407-3685

Re: Dazzle Smile Scam

The Dazzle white scam.

I fell for it and now i am suffering,  I called the number shown it was an 0800 number (free call)

Only to be fobbed off by an agent, who was reading from a script.  They were not at all helpful, infact they were as much use as a chocolate fire guard.

I was charged the $89 dollar's (£54.12) and I had sent the product back to a place in Bedforshire (uk) but had lost everything and it company is being investergated by my bank.

DON'T FALL FOR THIS SCAM LIKE I DID.

They are robbing theiving B*****D'S

Re: Dazzle Smile Scam

I also feel for the add for a free trial of Dazzle Smile - and was checking my credit card online and found I was charged 2.95 in October  I received the "trial order" which I thought was a sample order in November. I did not know I was going to be billed monthly.
I have not used the product and called the 866 # today to return it. The rep told me I had already been billed 86.00 and that I because had the product for 15 days he could not accept it because I was suppose to return it within 14 days.
As i was reading this message board i just noticed a post from DAZZLE WHITE saying "Customer service is our number one priority and we do everything we can to be open with all of our customers. we are happy to offer you a full refund if you return the unused product back to us. We have always honored our 60-day guarantee and will continue to do so. hmmmmmmmm. I guess they need to send a memo to the people answering the telephones, I will be calling 888-948-5508 tomorrow. When you click on this link  http://www.dazzlesmilepro.com/contactus.php  it says
Please Note: We no longer sell this product or anything related to Dazzle Smile.

Re: Dazzle Smile Scam

Dazzle Smile scam

DO NO ORDER DAZZLE SMILE, THIS IS BIG SCAM.

I ordered from UK free trial Dazzle Smile on 17.06.2010, $3.26 was taken after two days plus exch rate fee £1.50 on 26.06.2010 from account has been taken $87.00 under the name “DAZZLESMILE†. On 29.06.2010 I received completely different product VIVID SMILE with logo as seen on TV. There is no free trial if u order this product call ASAP to cancel order on 1-888-869-2674 (from uk find first on international call checker number which u can call for 0.5p/m – than add 00 1-888-869-2674. Product has been sent from USA on 27.06.2010 ( stamp on envelope)  so company already kept product for 10 days, so your Free Trial period already expired before you received the product. The Tree Trial Period beginning on the day that you place the order. So they not giving you trial pack, they will sent u only one product kit which u pay for it. I call there, she (ANDI FOSTER –agent) ask me for my order number, verify few details. I got my RMA number: cancelation number, which I had to put on envelope. They sent me by e-mail cancelation form, was written you must agree to TC for Cancelation process, which means that  will get my refund money  minus 45 present for restocking fee. Put password in lower case, customer service agent in upper case, you signature: first name and surname in lower case without spaces. Send the product back on:  3020 north, 29th AVE, HOLLYWOOD, FL 33020 but address they will give you , they using different addresses.
They set up on my account subscription for every month of $87.00, so every month they will sent me new whiting kit. I call my bank to block my card, but they said they even I will order new one the subscription will be on my account anyway, so I have to call merchant to cancel. I can not cancel my account because refund money will be automatically transfer back to account. Bank said that I entered my card details so I gave them auth to take the payment. I agreed to take only $3.26 for postage not $87.00 for the product.  So I going to do dispute this transaction with my bank, as payment was taken by Dazzle Smile but product was Vivid Smile, and the amount was is correct as well.  I hope you find this information useful.
