whitening individual teeth

Can the whitening strips be used on individual teeth? My canines are very discoloured compared to the rest. Has anybody else had this problem? What's the solution?

Re: whitening individual teeth

Hi nina,

It is very normal for canines to be more yellow than your surrounding teeth. If you pay attention to smiles, you will see that the centrals and laterals are almost always more white than the canines.

Having said that, you can still whiten your canines individually, but not with white strips. you will need to get custom made bleaching trays (dentist), then just fill the canine "grooves" with bleaching gel. Good luck!
