The iWhite Maintenance Stick is a brush-on whitener from Remedent. This product is meant to be used as a “touch up” whiter once you are finished with the iWhite Light Activated Teeth Whitening Kit. While brush-on teeth whitening is not a new concept (Colgate introduced the first in 2002), this is the first brush-on product we have seen which implements a dual action stick.
At first glance, the maintenance stick looks like a dual lip gloss product. One side has a brush, and the other has a wax head. The brush at first may seem to be the half that does the whitening, but it’s just to clean the “smile zone.”. The whitening substance is actually part of the wax on the wax head.
To use the product, you simply apply a thin layer of the cleaning gel to the front of all upper and lower teeth in the smile zone. Next, you apply the whitening wax on top of it. The wax will naturally dissolve without rinsing.
The brush uses a cleaning gel which helps remove stains from the enamel surface before whitening. By cleaning the surface of the teeth, the enamel pores become more accessible for deeper whitening. The whitening wax is made up 6% hydrogen peroxide and uses proprietary ingredients to help with contact time on the tooth surface.
We found that when applying the cleaning gel it was a bit hard to gauge how much is “enough”. Just make sure to only apply a thin amount of gel. When applying the whitening wax, it might feel like you are drawing on it with a crayon since it comes out chalky and gritty. This is probably an intentional design, since the grittiness seems to help with a longer contact time.
The wax is noticeable right after application until it dissolves (depending on how much you put on) so it’s probably best to not talk to anyone if you’re self-conscious about things on your teeth. Even though the directions say not to eat or drink for 15 minutes after for best results, it’s doubtful you’ll want to anyway due to the feeling of foreign wax on your teeth.
iWhite’s success depends on your determination to spend time with the product. It’s easy, simple, pleasant-tasting and can be stashed in your purse or briefcase for portable use.

I recommend this product for on the go whitening. I use it a couple of times a day and it seems to work. im not sure if the wax keeps the gel in place and thats what helps it work, but it also freshens breathe. However, the tube does leak so i cant keep it in my purse. Still unsure wether to invest in iWhite system or not.

Great product, I keep it in my handbag and use it after meals to bring a shine back to my teeth. I also like that it leaves your mouth with a fresh breath feeling.
mine leaks terribly i cant take it with me anywhere it has to stay upright in my bathroom and even when i turn it to the wax side the other end leaks.otherwise i suppose its a good touch up product
