Lumibrite Chairside Whitening is the latest evolution of the in-office series of professional whitening products from Denmat, Inc. Denmat was the company behind Rembrandt Toothpaste (until the brand and it's formulas were sold in 2003) and continues to be a leader in the whitening field - as it has been for over 20 years. The LumiBrite brand features three products in total: a Bleach-Free whitening kit, a chairside whitening procedure and a take-home whitening kit with custom mouth trays. Each procedure claims to have built-in sensitivity solutions behind it.
The Lumibrite Chairside Whitening process is an in-office bleaching process featuring a strong hydrogen peroxide bleaching gel (35% solution) and the use of a powerful LED Activation light to enhance the gel's effects. It is designed to deliver maximum whitening effects (10+ shades) in 60 minutes or less. It must be performed by a professional. To prevent sensitivity issues, the system also features a desensitizing enhancer.
The powerful Lumibrite Chairside Whitening Gel comes in at a whopping 35% hydrogen peroxide percentage. That's about as strong as it gets in the whitening field - and that's the major action behind the whitening. Teeth are first cleaned to remove calculus and surfaces stains, then gums are painted with a “Paint-On Dental Dam” to prevent damage to soft gum tissues. Additionally, your dentist will apply a lip moisturizer to protect soft lip surface. Next, the Lumibrite Densensitizing Enhancer is applied to teeth before application of the Whitening Gel.
Once the teeth are coated, the Sapphire PAC light will be positioned at the mouth and set for 30 minutes. Your dentist will check your progress, however, every 15 minutes or so. If it's determined you need another 30 minute session - an additional layer of Densitizing Enhancer and Whitening Gel are applied. When the whitening procedure is completed, the Paint-On Dental Dam is cleaned.
Professional whitened smiles need very little maintenance, but its best to follow through with good oral hygiene and regular visits to the dentist.
Yes - only it's quite pricey and there may be people with severe sensitivity or oral health issues that contraindicate its use. Denmat has a long history of producing excellent quality products, backed by extensive clinical testing. Dentists are familiar with using them and can predict accurate results. Had this procedure done 6 hours ago. It is to be done in 3 15 minute intervals, one right after the other. First 15 minute session was fine. They clean off the jel then reapplied it. I could tell within the first few minutes there might be a problem. I had stabbing shooting pain in several teeth nerves. I managed to keep it on until the end of the second 15 and then said no more. My lower gums are cut up but the pain in my teeth is still so bad that I am going to take a pain pill and go to bed. I have never had a problem before with getting my teeth whitened. Wow, I hope it is better tomorrow. Yes they are whiter but I will never subject myself to this again. My teeth themselves are in pain. I feel as if I have broken teeth with exposed nerves. I hope others have better luck.

Wew It took one hour at the dentist office, the results were dramatic. My teeth are really white. There is no gum irritation because they cover your gums with a hardening putty. Occasionally at the end of the treatment I would have a sharp nerve type pain in one of my teeth. This continued throughout that evening. It was painful, but short lived and didn't happen continually. The price was $425 which was a little pricey but it is suppose to last for a few years if I behave myself http://arenabetting.asia/

I am overall satisfied. My teeth are whiter for sure, and everyone has noticed.
My doctor told me there would be no pain, and well, he lied. The first 30 minutes, nothing. Come the second round I started to have sharp pains and shocks through my tooth nerves. So far I'm 2 hours done with the procedure and still getting the nerve shocks sporatically. They hurt! Took a vicodin and nothing...oh and a i hav a headache for some reason but that's probably from the dentists chair being so uncomfortable :/
Anyways, if you're okay with the electrical shock going through your teeth unannounced for about a day do this. If not, then don't.
My teeth are definitely whiter though- and well that's the point isn't it?

I had a change of two shades, which was satisfactory, considering I used a Groupon coupon. However, I have gum recession with sensitivity. In spite of using desensitizing gel in my trays and years of Sensydyne toothpaste, I had a great deal of pain. Bottom front teeth throbbed for 8 or 9 hours, nearly unbearable, along with the occasional zings of intense pain. Ibuprofen and Vicodin did not help the pain at all. I was sensitive most of the next day with some lingering pain. All this was gone in 24 hours. I would not recommend this treatment for someone with gum recession and sensitivity.
I Had the whitening done 3 days ago. I had two 30 minute sesions and another 20 minutes. The color change was amazing. Yes my teeth were sensative for the first 12 hours or so but good after that. Loved the way the dentist and assistant handled everything. They made sure I had great color. I had no reactions and would do it again.

Started with one side of my mouth. After 30 min there was hardly a difference. Even the doctor and assistants agreed. Luckily I was not charged. They thought that since my teeth were more of a yellowish white than a greyish white that the treatment would work well. The only thing I was left with were a few burns on my gums where the peroxide seeped through the dam. I basically wasted 30 min of my life on this one. Cheaper to get the strips with a lower dosage of peroxide. It will save you pain and money.

Big difference after 30 mins, but decided to have the second 30 mins since I had no sensitivity issues. The final 30 mins made a noticeable difference.
Still had no sensitivity issues.
One hour later though I had some! Sudden sharp and intense pains. Brief but intense. Did not really expect them. Over the next 6 hours the same. The frequency began to slow down and 24 hours after back to normal.
I would do it again, but hope that it will not be necessary.
The only thing I can say is that, handling heavy machinery or driving, piloting should not be done after. I am a pilot and an very, very happy I was not flying straight after the procedure. Because of the brevity of pain, it is not bad. But had I been in a critical phase of flight, it could have had consequences.

I just got it done today and I can defiantly see results! I am very satisfied on doing this procedure. Besides waiting an hour that was the only down fall. My teeth are slightly sensitive tonight as I had my teeth cleaned as well, and I am usually sore from that also.

I had this procedure performed yesterday and what a waste of money. It consisted of two 30 minutes sessions. After laying there for an hour, she said, "Wow, you changed a whole two shades." Two shades...that's it? They advertise 10 on average.
I looked in the mirror and couldn't tell a difference AT ALL. No one I showed that night could tell a difference at all. Complete waste of money.
PS - Had no sensitivity at all throughout the procedure.

I would have it done again, I have used so many whiteners and systems, this one was far superior!
