TresWhite Supreme Review

Opalescence treswhite Supreme is made by Ultradent. While Ultradent generally focuses on custom professional whitening solutions for dentists, they have created one over-the-counter (OTC) solution. The treswhite Supreme system is available in two concentrations of 10% or 15% hydrogen peroxide and is stronger than supermarket teeth whiteners. It's also available in peach, mint or melon flavors – so it's even fun to use.

Packaging & Instructions for TresWhite

The treswhite Supreme system comes with upper and lower mouth tray packets. The trays may be used for up to 60 minutes per session.

treswhite Supreme Whitening System Advantages

Opalescense is a class act and this OTC solution is very well reviewed. It's competitively-priced and can sometimes be found at even less than more popular OTC solutions such as whitestrip products. The powerful whitening formula and the easy-to-use tray delivery system produces better results than most kits in this range ($50).

Who Should use Tres White?

Ultradent emphasizes that treswhite Supreme is not meant to replace professional tray whitening, but for those not doing any whitening now, or those who don't want to mess with impressions or can't tolerate custom trays, it's a great alternative.

One thing to note about this product is that they might not go back far enough to get most second bis or molars, so if you show a lot of teeth when you smile (ala Julia Roberts - this is rare), you should go with another solution.

Whitening Factor

In comparison with whitening strips, the TresWhite system requires far less dexterity. The trays are easy to put in, cover much more of the tooth than whitestrips, and are easy to wear. You should see results within a few days. If you have extremely yellow teeth, you're better off going with a professional solution.

Shelf Life: 12 months, 6 months if unrefrigerated.
