BriteWhite Review

The BriteWhite teeth whitening system is a classic internet whitening scam. You will see this product advertised on the internet through fake testimonials posted on blogs, forums and phony review sites. This scam goes by the name of "BriteWhite" and "Extreme BrteWhite." It should not be confused with britewhite.com and britewhitesystem.com, which are legitimate sites.

Our Observations

  • BriteWhite is featured on fake testimonial and blog review sites.
  • The BriteWhite website shows "5 star" customer testimonials, but features no place where a customer can submit the "5 star" rating.
  • Consumers have complained on other job boards that BriteWhite signed them up for other monthly charges.
  • After the "free trial" you will be billed 74.99.

Tried to cancel and return unopened product. Was told I couldn't return the product and I would be charged $35. What a crooked company. So I will keep the product and cancel the credit card. No problem.

Paid $2.00

I read this, I guess now fake, teeth whitening tip article and got the stuff. Cancelled the stuff after getting it so k wouldn't get any other charges since they said you could keep it. Now they keep calling me about magazines and how I can't get out of it and I gave the card over the phone in Janurary or March. They said it was declined which I knew it wasn't and asked for my non existent MasterCard and then begged for my checking account number. I hung up after that and thirty minutes later cancelled the card. Today in August they bother me again. Again they want my card so I hung up and blocked the number and they called back on a state number and were like 'sorry about that someone rolled over the phone cord' so I hang up again and block. I have so much anxiety already and don't need this.

Paid $50.00

This whole company is a scam. I ordered whitening gel, funds were withdrawn from my account, but still, 4 weeks later, I have no product. I emailed the company using the "Contact Us" form on their website, but my message was returned as undeliverable. The return message said if I was still having problems, to call a certain phone number. However, when I called I learned it was a phone number for another company completely unrelated to Britewhite.com. I called the number reflected in their website to place an order, but the phone doesn't even ring. All you hear is music and after about 10 minutes of that, a recorded message came on asking that you leave a message (but not indicating it was Brightwhite.com--it was a different company).

So with that I cannot leave a review of the product--only this scam of a company.

Please do not "associate" us with britewhite.com - we have NO affiliations with this company, as you know, and I do not like your opening statement,
"The BriteWhite teeth whitening system is a classic internet whitening scam." You are using a trademark name, which can bring litigation against you. Then you go on to say, "It should not be confused with britewhite.com and britewhitesystem.com, which are legitimate sites." I will make sure my atrorney has this information. We are tired of defending our good name as we are the company that opened the doors to non medical teeth whitening in 2004! When I was "forced" to rate this article, it was the only way to air my answer. I feel this is also unethical because it shows you are using these ratings which are not true ratings. I would NOT give you a rating.

Your opening statement was knocking and degrading our company!

Very unprofessional company. Sadly I fell into their trap, they charged my credit card and even after I called them to cancel it, they told me they email me cancel confirmation number but they never did. Finally my bank called them and they made them cancel it with confirmation number.

This is a real scam wherein they promised a kit for$2.00+. I billed to my PayPal account and today they charged me $119.00. They now say it will take 10-12 days to get my refund. I'm retired and needed my money until payday. I caught it before it was released by PayPal but have spent an hour of my time in dealing with these crooks. I did not order a 6 months supply only a small inexpensive kits. I hope they are put out of business.

It is pretty sad that too many companies are using the good name ''Britewhite'' to lour business to their mystery company such as Britewhite Smile, Mystic White,Ever White etc. through a fake registered name. Britewhite Teeth Whitening System has its Registered Head office is in Jasper Alabama and They have distributors around the world. I happened to represent that company for Canada and have my name and the toll free number for Canada registered in the website. I have had several calls from Canada and USA demanding the refund of the money that the fake company had taken in different names from their credit cards.
Those who have called me and our Head office in Jasper Alabama have been duly recorded for serious action against this fake company. For us, we do not give away any thing for free or just for the price of postage . We do take phone orders for any of our merchandise either through money transfer, Cashiers cheque, authorised credit card transactions only. Once you have given the credit cards to those fake companies, they charge your credit cards on different occassions for nearly $200.00. A lot of people does not realize the scam that they have enclountered until they start getting their credit card statements. My suggestion is that as soon as you found a fraud credit card withdrawal, you need to cancel your credit card immediately from further fraudulant tranasctions. If you need any further information,. you are free to contact our head office in Jasper Alabama, or our Canadian office, located in Nova Scotia.
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays..from all of us of .britewhitesystem.com

I fell for this scam a couple days ago and am trying to cancel it but cannot seem to find any info on it online at all. I look on my bank account and it is showing Prestige Icon in Fullerton CA for the Mystic White product but i cannot find a website for them or contact number. I sent an email to the Brite White one but i am not sure that will work either. Can anyone help?

My son & daughter in law fell for this scam. Here's how I was able to stop it. Follow this exactly: First contact your credit card company, telling them the various names this Panamanian company uses - Brite White Smile, Mystic White, Everwhite - and tell them you are 'attempting' to cancel and not to honor any charges or you will cancel your account with the. Second, forget about the 800 number for Brite White; they won't answer or it will always be busy. Call Nutrimax Labs, their central office, at 866.889.2187. Tell them that you have already notified both your credit card company AND your attorney. They will keep talking and try to sell you more stuff. Tell them to stop and listen. Tell them to cancel immediately or your next phone call will be to your attorney UNLESS you receive a confirmation cancellation via email immediately. Remain firm throughout. Ask if they understand, every step of the way. I sucessfully cancelled both Brite White & Mystic White after my son & daughter in law had attempted & failed to do so. The key is to threaten a lawsuit & to make sure they understand your credit card company is aware that they are a scam. By the way, they do not deny this fact. Good luck.

I too fell into their trap. I knew better but for some stupid reason I did it anyway. I called the same day to cancel. Told Robert, in customer service, I didn't even want the trial after reading their terms and conditions. Basically, they state you must call and cancel within 10 days or you will be charged $87. Robert told me he was sending me an email that I would have to cancel online. WOW... you have to call to receive the email to cancel. They make this as difficult as possible. I never received the email and never got around to calling them again. So... I get billed exacting 10 days later for $87. I call again and talk to a Samantha. After being very adamant about receiving a refund for $87 she tells me I can ship the product back. Again, I was to wait for an email. I ask to send to another email address. I get this one and read EVERYTHING. The refund... includes a f'ing restocking fee of 45%. Of course, she didn't mention that. So my choice is to send the product back costing me approx. $45 or keep the product and costing $87 plus shipping of free (right) trial. I'm keeping the damn product. What a scam and I will NEVER do something this stupid again. If I get another charge on my card for next month there will be hell to pay and it's not coming out of my account. Wise up, I know I have. Companies like this need to be stopped.

We are often confused with this "scam" company, but we are BriteWhite Teeth Whitening System and have no affiliation with this company. Too bad someone cannot get them closed down. It hurts good names such as ours.

I ordered a product from Extreme Brite White or Brite White. They had a second company "confirm the order" . A week later the Confirmation Company Called to confirm my order. They asked for my credit card number again. They only talked about the order I *originally* placed, and did not speak of any other products or offers. A week later I see a CHARGE ON MY CREDIT CARD FOR $99.00! It was from this second company. And a few days later I received a product from them - that I did not ask for or order. Total Scam!
