Whitening Now Review

The Whitening Now teeth whitening system is a scam. You will see this product advertised on the internet through fake testimonials posted on blogs. While the product may certainly be better than the scam brush-on whiteners, the company uses far too many illicit marketing tactics to make it legitimate. Their website will try to lure you in with their free sample offer - you will actually be signing up for a month-to-month supply that will be billed at $78.93 per month. The product has also been found to use the name "Bright Teeth Whitening System".

Their terms and conditions state the following: "Upon the expiration of the Free Trial Period, You will be automatically enrolled in Our Home Delivery Plan, and Your credit card will be billed for the full cost of the Product that You ordered (i.e., a thirty day supply). At present, the full cost of the Product is $78.93."

Our Observations

  • Whitening Now uses the fake testimonial blog cathysteeth[dot]com to dupe consumers.
  • Whitening Now claims to be the leading teeth whitening system available today. This is not true.
  • Whitening Now claims that their system has been used by dentists and spas worldwide for years, and just recently became available directly to consumers. This is not true. No dentist has ever used the Whitening Now system.
  • Their website uses a timer to create a false sense of urgency. They do not want you to read the terms and conditions.

I was JUST about to buy this teeth whitening product for Whitening Now, but for some reason i lost the page, and i tried searching for it and i found this page. After reading all the comments , I'AM utterly relieved I lost the page!! Thank you alllll!!!!!! I went back just to check out the Terms and Conditions, and in them, it states that you will be charged with 78$. So advice for everyone buying or ordering things on the internet, ALWAYS read the Terms and Conditions.

I got the product last year in the spring time. I canceled the product cause it didn't work for me it made my teeth sensitive and weakened my enamel. Just yesterday I received a letter in the mail saying I owe $130.00 even though i canceled before the end of the free trail. If anyone says this is not a scam I honestly feel they must work for this company. However after a whole year I owe now I'm blessed to have not noticed anything out of my account but they have threatened to send this to a 3rd party collection agency. I am going to let better buisness know as well as the general. How do these people get away with this?

Whitening Now is a complete scam!!!!!!! Do not try it!!!!!! My trial offer was not $6.99 but $78.93! I recieved the product twice in the mail but was charged four times in different amounts ranging from the $78.93 to $83.95. Got absolutely know where when I called the company. Every person I talked to Trisha George, Roger, John Paul all sound American by their names but they all sounded like foreigners on the phone with accents that were extermely difficult to understand. I was told I would be refunded $40.00 and a supervisor would call me back within 72 hours. Ha Ha Ha never happened. I had to go to my bank fill out fraud forms and close my checking account and reopen a new one!!! This has been a complete nightmare. Something that took me a minute to send for has now cost me hundreds of dollars and a ton of time informing creditors of my change in account! This was a huge lesson learned. Very smart of the person who bought a prepaid visa card with a very few dollars on to purchase this with. I never thought of that! Great idea! You got them!!!!! Be Aware of similar offers. My bank told me they get customers in everyday who were lured in by lucrative trial offers! Don't do it!

Gosh you people should know not to give out your credit card to these free trials especially when there is a timer on the site rushing you for your information. Here is the trick to get around the scam. You go a pick up a preloaded credit card, like at CVS or Walgreens. Pick up the card and just add $5.00 on it and use that card to make your trial purchase like I did. I received my trial and of course it sux so I had the same experience when I cancelled that all of you experienced. However, they have no funds to charge against because there was only $5.00 on the MC to begin with which they had no idea. So I said fine and there have been no future charges because prepaid cc do not accept the charge if the funds are not already available. Try this next time you want to do a trial. It works.

"Easy White", "EZ White", "Teeth Whitening Now" and all other names of this product associated with AdEx Media is a 100% scam. I have been billed six times now, ranging from $78 to $90 for a product I have never tried. This is the first, only and last time I will ever try a product advertised on a major website (MSN). Even though I have called "Easy White" and "Teeth Whitening Now" to cancel shipments, a total of 6 boxes sent in a three month period, I was just charged $90 again directly out of my checking account. I have notified my bank and had to cancel my credit/debit card as well as my checking account. This is an outrage! I would like to know how a company is allowed to blatantly scam people with no legal repercussions. This needs to end now. If there are any lawyers reading this, you have an easy case against AdEx Media. Please feel free to sue them on our behalf. I would be more than happy to be a part of a class action suit against AdEx Media.

This is an outrageous scam that the credit card companies, especially Visa collaborate with. Their site states that it is a free trial, but you can't try it for free because you pay for it on the day you sign up for your free trial and you receive the product more than 30 days after you have already paid for it. You can't cancel the product after the 14 day period from the day you asked for the free trial. So, even if you cancelled during the 14 days before you receive the product...you will never have a free trial. They have chared us nearly 84 dollars three times and we have received nothing except the free trial that arrived about 45 days after we signed up. If you call, they will not give you a Return Authorization number (required to return it). Visa, says they are ligimate because of their terms of condition, because Visa will take all the money they can get. This is a scam and it is surprizing that neither the US government nor Visa will do anything but turn a blind eye.

I DO AGREE THAT THIS IS A SCAM!!!!!
They give you a 14 day free trial and when i called to cancel it i spoke to an Indian guy and he didnt want to cancel my free trial. he keeps telling me how well it works blah blah blah...then he says i could extended the free trial for you. ...Then i call again and speak to anotherindian guy and he says the same thing and wants to extend the trial again, i tell him i dont want to extend it i just want to CANCEL it.*he refuses to cancel*..i call again for the 3rd time and speak to a female indian lady and she does the same thing and tell me to return the unuse product and to pay shipping myself if i want to cancel. but then she refuses to cancel and said she will just extend the free trial longer and hung up.

This company should be ashamed of themselves.

I called to cancel within the original 14 day trial period and was bullied into extending my trial period by another 14 days. I thought that they had a fair point that perhaps the product required more time to work, so I agreed to extend my free trial period by another 14 days. I was told that if I was still not satisfied, I could cancel at that time and I would still be within the trial period.

After giving the product another 14 days to work, I called on the last day of my extended free trial to cancel as I was still not seeing any results and I had used the entire product. I was told that I had to return the unused portion (there was no unused portion- it was sent in a 10cc syringe) or I would be charged $78.93. I was told that this was in the terms and conditions. I had very carefully read the terms and conditions and it did not state this. In fact, it had said that if you canceled within your trial period, you need not return the product. I stated that I had used the product per their strenuous recommendations, but that I could return the empty container. They stated that they would have to charge me $78.93 if I returned the empty container and that the only way that they would allow me to cancel without paying this amount would be to charge me a "discounted" amount of $18.93. Reluctantly, I agreed to this while still stating that this was unscrupulous and that I would be reporting them to the BBB.

The rep would not allow me to speak with a manager despite repeated requests and only very reluctantly did he give me the address of the company to send a written complaint- after asking 15 times. Count em- 15! In addition, the cancellation representative was extremely aggressive and rude.

I was able to find the original terms and conditions page that I had saved shortly after hanging up and it stated:

"If you are NOT satisfied with the Product and wish to cancel future deliveries of the Product, You must call Our Customer Service Department toll-free at 1-866-964-1011 prior to the expiration of the Free Trial Period and cancel Your order and any future deliveries. You need not return the Product to AWR if You cancel within the Free Trial Period."

When I called back to state that I had found the actual terms and conditions and read this portion of them to Michael Thompson- the extremely aggressive and rude rep- I was told that I did not cancel during the free trial period because I had agreed to extend my free trial period! I stated, "no, today is the last day of my free trial period. It was extended." He refused to allow me to speak with a manager, gave me some story about his supervisor being on the phone with someone else, and then finally agreed to give my phone number to the "Back End Dept." for a call back within 72 hours after about 45 mins of arguing with me on the phone and refusing my many requests to have my call escalated so that I could speak with someone with more authority. When I asked what the Back End Dept was, he stated, "It's not your business to know what it is."

Overall, the company is unethical, the product does NOT work, and the service is absolutely the worst I have ever experienced in my life. If you wish to spend all day being shouted at by someone in India, by all means, go ahead and try this product. As for me, I will be publicizing my horrible experience with this company to as many people as I can to try to get the word out.

After being charged with so much money I visited the site again and found that if you click on the Terms & Conditions and Refund and Exchange Policy it pretty much tells you Everything on there. So many of us have made this mistake. I called for cancellation and will now take it as a lesson learned. Hopefully our comments, reviews, and complaints have been "popular" enough to attract attention of others who are interested in the product and reduce the future number of scams...

To anonymous who so critically bashed everyone (except two) on May 2, 2009. I found three (3) errors in your short dissertation. Anyway, with your obvious intelligence and education, you should be proud that you were able to get a high-paying job at a call center. How proud you must be. In response to your response, these types of companies do prey upon those of us stupid enough to take the bait. I will take my loss and and learn from it.

Let me start off by saying that I completely agree with anonymous above. Before anyone ever lets out their credit card info, it requires common sense to ask questions. Before I ordered the whitening product, it was very clear what would be charged to my credit card. If any of you have ever went to a dentist to ask about teeth whitening, you would be charged a lot more than what was charged by this company. And the convenience of this is awesome, especially if you have a life. I don't have a before and after yet, but I can tell you it works. For those of you who have negative comments about being scammed, shame on you. There is no scam in this product. It's a product that works.

PLEASE BE AWARE...I ordered this product under the belief that I would be charged no more then $5.00 for Shipping/Delivery...imagine my surprise when I got a bill 2 weeks later for almost $80 ($78.93). When I called I got some dude in India who I could barely understand and proceeded to argue with him for the next 30 minutes. Long story short, they will NOT refund your money, you CANNOT speak to a supervisor, You CANNOT cancel the next shipments until you've received the shipment for that month...this means you must make yet another call to India and suffer through an additional 10-30 minutes of them trying to convince you to NOT cancel. THIS IS A SCAM...do NOT buy this product. Mine was delivered under the name of "BrightTeeth whitening System"

I got a real suprise this morning when the credit card company called and said I was being charged $85.37. What a Phony ad. I was taken in thinking It was just a trial, not only that but the trial started the day I requested the FREE trial. Don't understand how that can be .Phony all the way. and I was dumb enough to get caught.Mine was called dazzle white.

Product is a decent product but way too strong. If left on for more than 7-10 minutes it can burn your gums. Deceptive business practices and hassles when trying to cancel make this a big scam. The amount of the product given is more than enough to warrent ANY need of monthly shipments.

Did you know Einstien couldn't spell? Do you think he was an idiot?

If the company was legit they would refund your money no questions asked! If we Americans have a problem it is that we are too trusting and want to believe in our fellow Americans. I understand working with the public gives you a different perspective but it looks more to me like you work for this company. Either that or you just think you are better than everyone else. Why else would you go to such lengths to deffend a company that is obviously so fraudulent in the way they do business?
Yes I too got scammed. Yes shame on me for trusting them. And no I can't spell either. Get over it. That is not an excuse for them to continue doing business.
I would suggest all of you go here to file a complaint.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS ONE!!! Whitening Now! Baloney. What a scam. No FREE trial!! I learned to ALWAYS google ANYTHING I want to order online. This company won't honor a cancellation request for refund. And the operators in Sri Lanka or wherever the H- - - they are very hard to understand. Offered a $20 credit towards the $78.93 withdrawn from my account. Expensive lesson. If the $20 even shows up I will be shocked. Should have known, the actual price is butied so far down in the fine print you can't find it! SCAM SCAM SCAM.

I'm not sure cancelling your card will solve any future billing issues from this company. Did you give them the three digit code on the back of your credit card? If so, I beleive this may give them the power to automatically bill you "monthly" charges (and yes even to a closed account) if this was part of the original agreement. Many companies try to "slip" this montly fee into the conversation (or in small print) so that you are not even aware of what they are doing. It is with these monthly charges that they get you...You may want to speak to your credit card company to verify this. If you do not get any future charges from them, then great...but don't be surprised if you get a statement from your "closed account" with this charge.

I wish I would have looked for these reviews before I "fell" for the FREE Trap. Teeth Whitening Now says to trust our company..... yet they offer the FREE TRIAL with trap attached. It's a 14 day trial, and then they charge you full price if you do not call and cancel. The TRICK is that the 14 days starts from the day you order on line, not the day you receive. So, you really only have maybe 7 days as it takes 5-7 days at least to get it. So, by the time you make sense of things, your card is charged, not once, but twice, because by the time you get your statement, the "new month date" has passed and now you're in for another $80 !! Try calling! They say "we understand" but it clearly says 14 days, etc....They won't do anything about it. I am ready to file a complaint with the Attorney General or some comsumer fraud division. In the meantime I will be disputing the charges with my card company. Buyer BEWARE!!!!!

Great knowledge, but unfortunately it is too late. I am now out $4.99 for shipping of one of their products and 6.99 for shipping the second product. I would smile at such as small loss were it not for the fact that this company got $315.72 from my bank account by deducting $78.93 four times on the same day. Shame on them! They refused to cancel my subscription and promised a 60 per cent discount on my next shipment so that I would really appreciate their product. When told I had not even opened the first product and did not want it or anymore of it, they said the four deductions from my account was their error and if I canceled before the refund to my account was made, they would not be able to give me a refund. A call to the attorney general is next; since my five calls to this company have gone nowhere.

I just found out that my credit card has been billed four different times. This is what we should do. First call credit card company to dispute the payment, then call National Trade Commission (1-877-382-4357) to report the scam. They are looking for the pattern of the business. We need to make loud noises to have them investigate those companies. Then call your state Attorney General to file a consumer complaint. We need to work together to get rid those companies.

i as well as all of you payed the $4.99 for s&h, and i got curious right after i gave my information on my credit card. i went back into the computer not even 5 minutes later and i found a scam page on all of this whitening stuff. i tried to call them which did not help at all, so i called my bank and cancelled my card. The one charge i did get was for the $4.99, but that was because i canceled my card so quickly. what a sucky thing for honest people like us who trust people. I will definatly not do this again.

I am another guilty of ordering and not doing some background checking first. Not only did I cancel and still got charged the 78.00 plus 4.99 shipping, but I also had three different charges on my bank statement claiming they were from Teeth Whitening Now for amounts such as .75 cents, 15 cents and 2.37. I called Teeth Whitening back and they said they were not from them. So NOW...someone else is taking money from me. Had to close my account also. Beware of other charges on your account that say "Teeth Whitening foreign charge" and Teeth Whitening non-foreign charge"!! I would bet my life that I was calling someone out of the country!! And did you all notice that there are many different 866 phone numbers??

This firm is a total scam.... I am ashamed as I fell right into the trap. I ordered the trial.... Then, today, my account was charged for the full $78.. I called my bank and asked where these charges were from (they seemed to know a lot about it), they gave me an 866 number to call and cancel. I called, got an indian on the phone who said they were located in Iowa... I laughed and told him that I want this terrible product cancelled, I wanted the money, he gave me the run around. I said I want to speak with your supervisor which was another indian.. (i knew they were not in Iowa). They would not give me a confirmation number nor an email confirmation. Eventually, they hung up.

I have called numerous times asking for a local US contact, they would not give me that information. I am so upset!!!!!

How could CNN, Times and many others even advertise such a scam?????

I agree with all the negative postings in this website. This company should be investigated and taken off the internet as the product does not work and even if you cancel your subscription in enough time they state that you didn't I received the product on April 27, 2009 got charged my first $4.99 on April 20, 2009 and on May 2 cancelled my subscription and still got charged another $78.93 on May 5, 2009. This is not possible the no one does anything to these people., Beware when you order from these crooks without guns.

I also am ashamed to say I got suckered into this scam. Thankgoodness I started to research it. A little too late I know. However, I just placed my orders yesterday, so thankfully I came across this information today. It absolutely took me forever to try and cancel my order. This Indian woman just kept trying to extend my order by offering me 3months free. I stood strong and told her i don't think so, no, no, no, no. Eventually, she finally said she would cancel it. I asked for a cancellation number and she said there wasn't one. Hmm, fishy. I decided to call back to make sure it was indeed cancelled and spoke with another rep, he told me it was cancelled and gave me the cancellation number. As someone posted above this trial offer came with another toothwhitening product, mine was ivory bites. Thankfully, ivory bites was very polite when i told them I wanted to cancel my order and they obliged right away. Not only did they give me a cancellation confirmation number, but also sent me an email confirming. I will however be calling my bank tomorrow to ensue that I don't receive any charges from either company. Better be safe than sorry. As the saying goes, anything too good to be true, rarely is

true, most of these people should've done a little background check before blindly giving away credit card numbers & information, but take it easy man. you weren't one of the ones who got jipped, why so attacking?

though not exactly my definition of legit business-doings, i wouldn't quite call it a scam. i've gotta say most of the fault is in these people buying into it & being so gullible.
you've gotta look at it from their point of view - they're after making a profit, even if that entails duping customers. if there's a way they can fool you into getting into that wallet of yours, they're gonna find it.

basically, it all comes down to common sense. be careful with your money, people. never give your stuff out over the internet - I try to avoid it even with sites like amazon.com, but NEVER, ever give it to some phoney 'free trial miracle teeth whitener' ad. that's just a mistake.

How well it works

I am rather disappointed with all but two of the previous posts. The fact that half of you can not spell to save your life makes me no more inclined to be sympathetic to your plight. Brandi P of Mesa AZ, you're alright... Anonymous who posted on 04/04/09, you are in good standing too.

Up until early March of this year I spent the last two and a half years working in a call center. Over all I am regarded by others as an amicable person. However, after my two and a half year tenure with said call center, I have lost nearly all my faith in my fellow man. Most of you lack standard logic and reasoning skills, can not compute simple arithmetic, have no attention to detail and are simply insolent people. I have traveled around the globe and back, and from my personal experiences I feel justified in saying Americans and Canadians are by and large the rudest people I have met or had the misfortune of speaking with and YES, I am American as well. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

The company I worked for has a VERY easy to follow refund policy and a full customer service staff HERE in the United State of America and we ALL speak ENGLISH (although not all of us speak it well.) It is astounding that such an astonishing amount of you have an aversion to common sense. We were legally required to read you the refund statement before you got off the phone, So do not try to say you didn't know you had to submit a photograph of your car to be eligible for the refund if your car hadn't sold in two months. Furthermore, did you honestly expect your car would sell quickly without a photograph? Americans are by nature very visual creatures. We don't pay attention to a subject that has no accompanying illustration.

Back to the WhiteningNow "scam" as you all seem so eager to call it... Did any of you read the whole page? I'm just going to pick cathysteeth.com since chances are they are all the same website just regurgitated in a different fashion. NOWHERE on the web page does it say these products are endorsed by CNN or U.S. News. In fact, I would go so far as to say the incredibly blurry and pixelated CNN logo reveals that cathysteeth.com is not the owner of that image. Do not ignore the fact that this CNN logo does not link to CNN.com either. In addition, the page clearly states that:
"All trademarks, logos, and service marks (collectively the "Trademarks") displayed are registered and/or unregistered Trademarks of their respective owners.

CathysTeeth.com is not associated with CNN, AOL, USA Today, MSNBC, FOX or MSN. The CNN, AOL, USA Today, MSNBC, FOX or MSN logos are trademarks of their respective owners." †1

As well as:

"If Customer wishes to return the Product to EasyWhite Labs, Customer MUST obtain a return merchandise authorization (RMA) number from EasyWhite Labs' customer service department as outlined below. The RMA number must be prominently displayed on the outside of the returned package and the package must be returned within fifteen (15) days. Only the most recent shipment is eligible for an RMA. We do not accept items returned as "refused" or "return to sender".

Sales Taxes.

EasyWhite Labs has offices in the State of Colorado and collects Colorado state sales tax whenever a Product is delivered to a Colorado address. EasyWhite Labs is not obligated to determine whether sales tax applies to state or local taxes for any order shipped to any location other than the State of Colorado.

Warranty Disclaimer.

EASYWHITE LABS HEREBY DISCLAIMS ANY AND ALL EXPRESS AND IMPLIED WARRANTIES INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE." †2

For those of you with reading difficulties, allow me to enlighten you.

A.) It states that if you wish to return the product, writing "return to sender" is unacceptable. You must get a special return code from their CS department and clearly write it on the exterior of the package. No other method is acceptable and believe it or not, they will not make an exception for you because you threw a bigger temper tantrum than their last caller or made emptier threats than Bob Jones of Kalamazoo, MI. By the way this states the package must be RETURNED within 15 days, not in the mail within 15 days.

B.) They are legally represented in the state of Colorado, and therefore collect CO. sales tax. They are not required to ascertain if your dusty cranium is also legally represented in the state of Colorado. This means you are paying CO. sales tax whether you reside there or not.

C.) The warranty is in fact not a warranty at all and simply a bogus statement that we do not stand behind. (i.e. FOOOOLED YOU.)

I see not a soul among you has questioned as to why the disclaimer is more voluminous than the advertisement or dare I say the… “blog?”

Seriously people... I am so appalled I can't stop right now. Consider the blog's URL: http://www.cathysteeth.com/ Seriously? Who names their blog cathysteeth? What about the fact that it doesn't resemble the vile and uneducated opinions spilled forth by so many other so called bloggers but is in fact an ad for two teeth whitening products? There is also the gratuitous and incorrect use of quotations:

“I was surprised by the results after the first 3 days - but once I saw my teeth after a week I was totally blown away… I knew I was on to something” †3

First off, if this is something she ("Cathy") had said, Cathy would not be quoting it. Secondly, this quote has no source nor does it actually state that it is in reference to the products endorsed on this website. Let us not turn a blind eye to your own gullibility either. If whitening your teeth was ever so easy or inexpensive, everyone would be doing it. There are a few simple rules that all of you save the 2 aforementioned posts forgot. I'll repeat myself. "If it were so easy, everyone would be doing it." Also, "There's no such thing as a free ride." Last but not least, "If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is."

How many of you have clicked on the banner that claims "You are the 1,000,000th visitor! This is not a joke! Click here to claim your FREE laptop!" †4 (Or Xbox360 or Sony Playstation or what have you.) I truly and honestly hope none of you are parents, married or with child. For humanity's sake the gene pool would be a lot deeper without you.

You all want something for nothing and are upset because you attempted to take advantage of someone else but instead allowed yourselves to be taken advantage of. This is the sort of place for you and other like minded Australopithecus Afarensis†5 to pat each other on the back and tell one another that you didn't deserve what you had coming and that "It will be alright, we will whine and moan and make empty threats until the people we so willingly threw our hard (or not so hard) earned cash at give it back to us."

Go read a book†6 people.

God should strike these people for outright fraud. I have cancelled my credit card and they still keep charging. They are worse than a pit bull. If only someone could expose these crooks.

Here's another one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just like most of you I saw this on Cathys teeth .com.
What a low way to rob innocent people!! Thanks alot CATHY!!!

On April 8th :
I ordered the so-called FREE TRIAL, almost a week later On April 13th I called the customer service number SEVERAL times ( never got through)I tried to call several times through out that day and then I tried periodically for the next few days! I really don't have the time to constantly keep calling about some stupid TRIAL OFFER.

Well on Aprill 23rd:
I received the teeth whitening, And also a $78.93 charge on my bank account! ( which caused an Over Draft ) at this point I'm very very upset after calling so many times , the irony that it took 14 days to be delivered ( note:14 day Free Trial Offer), and especially about the $78.93 and Over Draft Fee on my bank account.. I immediately called the customer service number again,I finally got a hold of "Phillip Johnson" he had a very thick Indian accent ; we were arguing for over an hour he kept placing me on hold ( waiting for me to get discouraged and probably hang up) he would keep saying that he couldn't find my order or my information. I insisted on canceling and sending back the un-used kit. After about 1 1/2 hours he finally found my info and began trying to make a deal with me offering me the same product at half off! I repeatedly told him that I did not want the product that this was unethical and that I wanted my money refunded- he refused. I asked to speak to his supervisor several times he finally said that all of the supervisors were in a meeting! I asked for the supervisors name and extension number, He said that was personal information which he could not disclose to me! and that there was nothing that I could do or anyone could do for me and if I didn't want it that I could give it to a family member! Did I mention the whole time I couldn't understand him and he couldn't understand me.I grew up in Miami Florida and I have worked with people from many different country's including India , and have never encountered such a language barrier before!

Something needs to be done about this ASAP!

Thank you for the insight Judi in Fl, I'm going to contact fox news now!

I tried to cancel minutes after I had placed the order and was told I couldn't; it was too late, a label had already been generated, wait for the product and then cancel.

The box arrived, I didn't open it and I wrote "Return to Sender."

One month later, another box and two charges on my credit card.

I called the company and was told that, because I didn't have a cancelation number, they would offer me a credit of $60 toward the first charge but I needed to pay for the second shipment. All the supervisors were in a meeting and, if I spoke to a supervisor, I wouldn't even get the $60 credit. If I wanted to speak to a supervisor, call back in 2 or 3 hours.

Next I called my credit card company. The charges are now "in dispute." They are sending me paperwork to complete and I do not need to pay for the shipments.

This is the worst product ever. I can't believe I was such a fool. I wish I could tell the world how terrrible this product is. The Feds should look into this and put them out of business. As the saying goes let the buyer beware. I have never complained about a product ever online until now and want everyone to know my dissatisfaction with this product. It should be called "Not Whitening Ever". This stuff is crap.

I have been researching all over for the past week to find the best teeth whitening. I am so amazed at how many scams are out there. It is so sad....but i found this list to help...hope it does...

There are two versions of this scam. One that is hard to catch is the “fake reviews” type site, where they will review several products.

The other version is the fake blog, which just is borrowed from the other scams listed on this site. These have the same layout, reused text, reused comments, reused photos, similar URL’s, similar looking ads, etc., as the other known scams I’ve discussed here. Many of these mention a “Dynamic Duo” of products. I’ve listed these bogus products at the bottom of this page. And they often only charge shipping - so you will hand over your credit card number. They’ll charge you shipping PLUS a very large fee for something you didn’t want and they will not cancel or refund.

You have been warned. And now for the list.

amandasteeth.com - - Amanda, Cathy, and Karen!
amysbrightsmile.com - Exact copy of amysteeth.com (yes, it’s still a scam).
amysteeth.com - Typical fake blog format, same 2-product scam, reused text, uses the name “Amy Henderson” who is one of many phony Las Vegas residents in these scams.
beckyswhiteteeth.com - Exact copy of amysteeth.com but uses the name “Becky Swanson.”
blog.jennyswhiteteeth.com
brightest-teeth.com - Typical blog, same before/after teeth used for other phony blogs here. Noticed on Google ads 2/25/09.
cathysteeth.com - Exact copy of howigotwhiteteeth.com but uses the name “Cathy Anselmo.”
christineswhiteteeth.com - The main page is a decoy, which appears to be an informational teeth whitening site. The subdomain blog.christineswhiteteeth.com is where the fake blog resides, and is the typical unoriginal lazy affiliate fake blog we’re used to seeing. Advertised on Google 3/20/09.
coloncleansefacts.org - The name sounds like the Acai scams, but this is a teeth whitening scam site! I guess they figured no one would notice the URL has nothing to do with what they are selling.
elliesteeth.com - Exact copy of amysteeth.com but uses the name “Megan Henderson.” It’s funny that they apparently didn’t match the fake blog name with the url here. Megan or Ellie? Oops!
heatherswhiteteeth.com - Exact copy of karenswhiteteeth.com and even forgot to change the name to reflect the url (so you see “Karen Anselmo” and no “Heather” anywhere!)
howigotwhiteteeth.com - Standard blog layout, reused text, typical “Dynamic Duo” 2-part dubious product scam, typical fake comments, typical references to news sites, uses the name “Lisa Anselmo.”
how-to-whiten-teeth.com - Exact copy of howigotwhiteteeth.com but uses the name “Karen Anselmo.” (and it has a different layout than karenswhiteteeth.com)
jadesteeth.com - Exact copy of amysteeth.com but uses the name “Jade Henderson.” Maybe this is Megan Henderson’s twin sister since they look exactly the same!
karenswhiteteeth.com - Exact copy of howigotwhiteteeth.com but uses the name “Karen Anselmo.”
kaylaswhiteteeth.com - Very close copy of howigotwhiteteeth.com with some minor graphical changes and uses the name “Kayla Anderson.”
kellyswhiteteeth.com - Similar blog layout, same 2-part product scam, reused text, uses the name “Kelly Miller.”
laurasteeth.com - Similar blog layout, same 2-part product scam, reused text, uses the name “Laura Harper.”
lisaswhitesmile.com - Main page forwards to an exact copy of howigotwhiteteeth.com but uses the name “Lisa Thompson.” Go to the subdirectory lisaswhitesmile.com/2lp/ and you’ll find an exact copy of amysteeth.com also with the name “Lisa Thompson.” This url hosts two scams for the price of one!
maryswhiteteeth.com - Another phony blog, uses the same tired before/after teeth photos, same products. Advertised on Google 2/25/09.
my-white-teeth.com - Similar blog layout, same 2-part product scam, reused text, uses the name “Olivia.”
my-whitening-story.com - Exact copy of howigotwhiteteeth.com but uses the name “Karen Anselmo.”
myteeth.org - Very close copy of amysteeth.com with some minor graphical changes and uses the name “Sharon Peters.”
rachelteethwhitening.com - Exact copy of howigotwhiteteeth.com but uses the name “Rachel Tamplian.”
sarahscleanteeth.com - Has the familiar phony blog template, phony comments, has the familiar “Sarah” from Las Vegas fake profile, peddling dubious products.
sarahssexysmile.com - Typical phony blog, same products, same free trial. I saw a subdirectory being advertised on TheSportsKing.com 2/16/09, but the main page is slightly different.
sarahswhiteteeth.com - Phony blog, uses the exact same template as sarahsdebtblog.com, and links to another “only pay shipping” scam.

THESE ARE ALL SCAMS:

bestwhiteners.com - Almost an exact copy of whiteningreview.com
teethwhiteningreviewed.com - Bogus “Celebrity Sexy Smile” being pushed, and uses the same lame “hidden coupon” trick.
top-teeth-whitening-reviews.com
whitener-reviews.com - Reads like one big ad to me, “hidden coupon” trick.
whiteningreview.com
whitenteethathome.com - Fake review site that only gives high ratings to dubious products from the list below.

The products being pushed by the above sites should be avoided, and include:

BellaBrite
Celebrity Sexy Teeth
Celebrity Smile
EasyWhite
Ivory Smiles
Ivory White
Luminous Brites
NutraBrite
Movie Star Look
Movie Star Teeth Whitening
Smart White
South Beach Smile
Teeth Whitening Now
Vibrant White

Like Tom said, do this for a little pay back:

If you're pissed off then click on their website ads every time you see one.

They get charged every time you click on one of their deceptive ads.

Eventually if enough of us do this they will be hard pressed to stay in business. Make a mental note to do this 5 or 6 times per ad.

If not for you, do this for the folks who will get scammed in the future.

This website is nothing but a SCAM!!! Don't fall for it, as you can see, many of us have been lied to. I ordered this product on 24 March 09. I never received the product. I called on the 14th day, they say they would ship another supply and extend 14 days since I never received it but still it never arrived. I got billed 78.93 and still not product in the mail. I called and some person from India, like always answered the phone saying they could not refund me, I became very mad and called my bank. I called the whitening company again and spoke to a different person, from India too, they are SOOOO stupid, they cannot understand what you are saying and you cannot understand what they are saying. It is a SCAM!!!!!!!!!!! Don't be fooled. This is the worst website ever. I will be forced to cancel this debit card because they are a bunch of thieves!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was scammed into ordering the "free" trial of Whitening Now for the price of $7.05 S&H. I only ordered this product because I was misled into believing that it was endorsed by Fox News. I received the trial about a week later and tried it. My wife tried it too. I didn't do any more whitening than what hydrogen peroxide does.

Sixteen days after ordering the trial, my credit card was billed for $79.56. I called the 866-484-2863 phone number and spoke with a women who was very polite, even though I wasn't. I explained to her that I wasn't aware of the automatic shipments and she told me that the disclaimer was posted on their web site at the bottom of the page. I told her that I was going to dispute the charges with my bank and wanted a full refund. She said that she could take care of the problem except for an international charge that was applied to the price because the company is located in Europe. So, she ended up refunding $78.93 to my credit card. It is supposed to take about 5 business days to get the refund.

When getting the refund, make sure to get a transaction number for the credit to you card and also a cancellation number for the Whitening Now automatic shipment.

On March 24, 2009 I ordered the trial. On April 13, 2009 my CC was charged 78.93 - i immediately called the number and was told (by someone in India) that there was nothing they could do - I did not call in time. I of course screamed and hollered and said they had better credit back my account. I finally hung up on him (Rick) was him name. Anyway - I sent them an e-mail and copied part of their terms and conditions and it stated that I had 30 days from the time I placed my trial order to cancel - i threated them with the better business bureau - fox news, cnn, etc. who are on their website. I told them that if the money was not credited by 5:00 p.m. EST yesterday that they would be sorry.

I dashed off a note to myfoxtampabay.com's consumer lawyer and they requested further information. I received notification from them today that they had contacted the company. They did not tell me exactly was they said to whomever answered but to let me know if I was contacted by them. I also filled out a dispute with my bank and cancelled my credit card.

I just went into my account and the 78.93 was put back into my account along with a .63 cent Visa International Charge - What the heck is that. Keep trying people to get your money back - write to your local TV station - radio station and don't be afraid to keep e-mailing the sales email address. Good Luck!
